Hi Everyone, I recently purchased a 2005 50cc Polaris Predator for my granddaughter. The wiring is a mess. most of it appears to be jumpered out (twisted together). I installed a new carburetor. The gas tank was cracked so I found another one on ebay and got that installed. There is no air filter box. I ordered another one but, it has not arrived yet. I did get it cranked with the kick start. But, it idles too fast and when you give it any throttle the motor dies off. The more throttle you give it the faster it dies off. It is very hard to start when it has not been running for a while. However, once it has warmed up, it starts on the first kick every time after that. I am looking for a little assistance in getting it running better and also a wiring diagram and service manual if possible. Thanks in advance....

Hello I,ve seen there was discussion about CDI boxes what they was for example, but I was wondering if a CDI box off of an 2008 Polaris Outlaw 525 will work on my 05 Predator 500, it has the same plug in, thanks to anyone that could help

So I have a Polaris predator 500 and everything works on it but not getting spark and no power going to CDI box. Please help

Does anybody know what the standard adjustment is for the air screw on the carb? How many turns out from full in? Cheers, John

Hello. I got this fourwheeler to fix for my buddy. It wasnt starting at all when I got it so I opened the valve cover up and checked the timing and the timing was way off. I set the timing bolted all back together and it started. It only stays running with very little throttle applied. There is a weird noise coming from the engine and it smells like its burning and also smokes from the headers. I posted a video idk how helpful it will be but I need some advice on the next step. I want to say it's the piston and rings, but I'm not too sure was also thinking something was up with the valves. Thought I would get some advice before trying anything. Thanks!

So my front hub broke, I’d like to put aftermarket on. Hard to find new oe ones. Please help. I’m new to all of this, I have some car knowledge and try to apply it

Hello my son has a Predator 90 that we just purchased the Daytime Running Lights Kit for. It is Polaris's own kit so this is not an aftermarket kit. I installed the kit and the wiring harness which is just a jumper that plugs into the stator wires and goes directly to the lights. The issue I am having is the lights are not getting bright at all. When I take the bulbs out and hook them directly to the battery the are fine but when I but them back in to the socket they go as dim as a lighter flame and that is not an exaggeration. I was told by a dealership that the stator on the 03 predator 90 should put out 70 watts and this kit has only two 5 watt bulbs so I am not over powering the stator. is it safe to assume that I have a ground issue? If not what are some things I should try to get these day time running lights to work properly? Oh I also for got an important issue. Sometimes the quad will not start if both bulbs are in the sockets. If I take one out it starts and while it running if I try to put the other bulb back in the machine dies like I pushed the kill switch. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
