As noted above! I’ve been looking for quite a while now to replace my rip torn CV boots and CV shaft with the axle set up for all four corners. I cannot find a company anywhere that sells aftermarket axles Also, looking for a new four-wheel-drive actuator switch that bolts to the front differential mine was broken off by a large branch. I cannot find anything but OEM parts what gives?? Again 2024 Kodiak 700 EPS.

Hey everyone, I have an issue with my dad's 03 Yamaha Kodiak 400. It had been running great but he left it sitting for a short amount of time. When he started it, it ran fine for a little bit but all of a sudden it quit taking gas. I thought it may have been the carb because it him not running it. The carb ended up being pretty clean. He put it back on and after taking it off and cleaning again, I'm beginning to wonder what it could be. It'll start and idle just fine, but when you go to give it throttle, it'll die out. It sounds like it's not getting air right but idk where to look or what else it could be. I'm stumped and need to figure this out before I go crazy. Anyone have any ideas???

Hello, I'm new to the forum. My wife and I recently bought a 2006 Yamaha Kodiak from a friend. It has been taken good care of, he just sold his property and no longer had a need for it. The cover of the owners manual says Kodiak YFM45FAV. Am I correct that for information I am looking for Yamaha 450? Anyway, the main problem I have is that in the last couple days it has decided not to go into gear. It will make a grinding noise. Is there an easy way to diagnose this or do I need to take it to a repair shop? Thanks for the help.

Put in new carburetor, battery is good, 30a fuse in starter relay good whe I push start button nothing happens except buzzing sound from batt. All lights come on. Won't start with pull cord either.

Hi all; New to the site. I have a 2004 Yamaha Kodiak 450 YFM45FAR that I'm having issues with the gear indicator lights. I'm having intermittent park and neutral lights and when they are not lit the starter will not work. It will start by the pull cord . Anybody else have this issue. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

So i replaced the head gasket on my kodiak yamaha and it is not starting i checked and made sure it had spark and was getting gas and then i noticed that it was blowing air out of the intake. i checked the exhaust and i can hold it shut with my hand but i cant hold the intake shut. Any idea what is going on?? Thanks

Hello Everyone Is it possible to replace just the ball joints? So far I am only seeing the parts sold as upper and lower control arm assemblies. Does anyone have any leads on the part numbers for just the ball joints? TK

My 98 grizzly needs a cdi and I refuse to pay $200 for a used one. Will the cdi unit for CDI Box For Yamaha Kodiak 400 YFM400 2001 2002 Warrior 350 YFM350X 1997-2001 work on a 98 grizzly ? Any ideas

I turn the key on and the dash lights up, the head lights work... I push the button to start and nothing happens, no click/crank, no noise at all. It will pull start, I can jump start it from the battery to the starter, and I replaced the starter relay. IWhat could it be??? Oh , and it is in Park,and I tried the kill switch several times in both positions, that does make a faint click, and sounds like it’s working

OK ya'll, How do I fix this problem? The plastic part holding the cable in the carb snapped and the spring is slipping out causing a really hi idle speed. I pushed it bacl kin dropping the idle so how can I fix it. I know I can get a kkit but I dont know how to do it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Intermittent running. Sometimes she will start and run, sometimes she refuses to fire other than an occasional backfire through the carb. Lately it won't start at all. I've rebuilt the carb as it had some leaks. Electrically I pulled the plug to check for spark... grounded it to the exhaust pipe and cranked her over. Sometimes a weak yellow spark, sometimes a strong blue spark, sometimes none at all. Seems to come and go. Weird to me. You guys have any ideas on where to start, or have seen this before? Starting fluid doesn't help, won't fire at all when it has decided it won't run.

i have recently purchased a yamaha kodiak ultramatic 400cc. it is used and sat outside for a long time. i have done a lot of work on it and got it to run sort of. when i try to start it, it will start and run for a little bit then it will die, the time it runs varies. it has a new cdi, spark plug, and stator. most of the time it wont even start it just cranks over. there was one time that it started up right away and ran perfectly but the next time i tryed it wouldnt start. before that one time every time it started and ran it had a popping sound. i cant figure out why it wont run. any help would be muchly appreciated! thanks!

Hi All, I have a 2004 Yamaha Kodiak, which has taken me to many remote places and hauled lots of game. I still love it after 16 years. Lately when I go to start it using the starter, sometimes it clicks and kills the power in the display. Lights don't work, nothing works and I end up having to unplug the battery, wait awhile, and replugging the battery ends up giving the power back. Using the winch will sometimes kill the power as well. Battery is new, all fuses are ok, I'm at a loss. I can start it with the pull crank and it will work and so will the lights. Any insights or advice would be appreciated!
