My 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660 seat is a mess, torn up, cracked, and I have been duct taping it for a while. I bought new vinyl for $35 and need to do it one day. A new seat used to be well over $250 but now its under $100 so I couldn't resist. My 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660 is still going strong but the battery has not been holding a charge. I replaced it a few years back and have been jumping it lately but after sitting for a few days, it drains out. I recently purchased two car batteries from Weize directly because it was a good price for an AGM. I looked on weize for a YTX20HL-BS and its an AGM at $59.99. I believe they have a promo code you can find. Found it cheaper on Amazon and intalled it yesterday. I ended up buying the same one on Amazon which is $49.99 with a $20% coupon bringing it down to $39.99, which is a pretty good price for an ATV AGM battery. Just a heads up if anyone needs a new ATV/UTV battery going into winter. YTX20HL-BS fits a a good amount of models. The small waterline insert for the hose that goes from the water pump cover to the thermostat housing has corroded off. I only need the insert on top and behind the thermostat housing that the hose goes over and can't find just the insert. It looks like it may be pressed in. I've have been told the entire motor housing needs to be replaced. The pic with the red line indicates where the hose and insert would be and the insert looks like the pic of the water pump Any ideas would be really appreciated.

When I turn on key back light on the display works. The display shows shifter positions, temp and engine icon. But the main display is blank. It will not start fuel pump not working, but that info would come from controll Modular? Thanks for any ideas

So I have used the service manual to troubleshoot every sensor on this bike. Everything tests good accept the EPS Control unit. However, I do not see anything in the manual that suggests that this will cause the issue that I am having. The bike will start instantly when the button is pressed sometimes and then other times it wants to turn over forever and make a horrible knocking sound. Sometimes backfiring. After cycling the ignition it will sometimes start up right away. I have triple checked the timing and also the valve clearances. Everything checks out. The bike is for a customer that really doesn't know anything about the bike. From what I can see, the cylinder appears to be new, along with the starter. I did a compression test and it is a little high (74psi) Book says 71.7 is max. I can't see this little bit causing the problem, but I could be wrong. Last thing is that the idle is a little high. I have tried everything to get it to slow down with no avail. When I put it in gear it will jump slightly and is hard to get back into neutral due to high RPM's. Any Ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I can't time my 2005 Yamaha grizzly for the life of me, can anyone please help me?

My 98 grizzly needs a cdi and I refuse to pay $200 for a used one. Will the cdi unit for CDI Box For Yamaha Kodiak 400 YFM400 2001 2002 Warrior 350 YFM350X 1997-2001 work on a 98 grizzly ? Any ideas

I was wondering if anybody seen that problem and know what could cause it it’s new to me 2018 Yamaha grizzly 700 with just over 4000km it starts fine and runs great until it gets to normal running temp. Fan turns on few times and than it stalls. If I try to start it right after It won’t start but if I let it cool for a while it will start and run normal for a bit and than stall again. so far I checked the stator output voltage and it’s around 22 volts AC between all 3 poles. I measured voltage on the battery while it runs and it’s around 14v so charging seems ok. I’ve read somewhere that it could be the coil but I’m not sure how to test it does anybody have any ideas what could that be ?

Have a 2000 Yamaha Grizzly YFM600FWA with no spark. Checked the troubleshooting chart, and all checks were within specs. CDI has part # 5GT-00 F8T36071. Friend has a 1998 Grizzly 600 but his CDI part # is 4WV-00 F8t34671. Are they the same? Thinking about taking my CDI and put it on his ATV and find out if it works, but don't want to damage something if not interchangeable. Thanks

Why does the 2001 grizzly not have com bearings or something to protect the head.

not sure where to post this but, I have a 2016 yamaha grizzly 700 with a blown up transmission (again). I was wondering if a 2015 Yamaha grizzly 700 Main drive transmission shaft and gears shift drum will fit on my 2016?

Does anyone know if a grizzly parts compatible to a big bear
