Thanks I found the problem, my magneto fell apart.

I am having a problem with my stator, I have a 2004 suzuki A400F 4x4 auto quad. I have been told that the stator may have built up a glaze because of old oil. My question is can the stator be cleaned up.

Does anybody know if you can clean up the stator on a suzuki eigar 400. I have been told that the oil can put a glaze on the contacts and that can cause the stator to not work.

I have done the tests and I need to replace the stator, does anybody know of where the best place to get a replacement. Thanks

I was told it was a short somewhere because it cooked all the acid out of the battery. So I am thinking of tracing all the groung and positive lines.

I have a 2004 eigar 400 4x4. I am having trouble finding out why the battery will not stay charged. I have tried two new battery's. I can charge the battery and the quad will start but after it has ran for a while the battery goes dead. hit the starter and all it will do is cleck. while it is running with low battery you turn on the lights and it kill's the motor. any ideas, I would love to get it running.
