  2. 2013 Brute Force, I believe the rear tire size is 22x10x10 !! I am looking to replace my rear tires on my my 4x2 B.F. 300 !! Seems like an odd tire size for the rear tires on my bike. My question is can I go 1" bigger, someway in tire size to where it would not affect bike performance ?? Seems like the 22x10x10 tire size is really odd !!! Thanks for any input !!!!
  3. i might have reposted, but was just wondering to make sure, kinda double guessing myself !! Sorry if i did repost,,,, Thanks for the info though !! Mike
  4. Just a simple question, but could i go and measure my air filter, I.D. and find a K/N air filter for my 300 4x2 Bruteforce ?? Seems to me that it would work, provided everything will still match up correctly, and i have enough room inside my airbox. Any thoughts ??
  5. Hey OX ! Will a higher wattage bulb strain my atv's elec. system ? I know not to run any other "juice" sucking accessory when running a higher watt bulb ! But was just wondering ???
  6. Thanks a bunch Ox ! I'll check it out
  7. I am pretty much mechanically inclined (worked on helicopter engines for 11yrs in the Army) but i cant figure out how to remove the bulb........................sad uhh?
  8. Got leds mounted on the front, my opinion is that they dont shine that far, but when you look at them up close they blind you. maybe a hid system ?
  9. No luck oxidized ! Its a35watt head lamp, but need a # , like H4, etc !! Kawa tells me nothing but wattage and part# ! I dont wanna jack anything up by putting the wrong bulb in, know what i mean ?
  10. Gotta 2013 Brute Force 300 2x4. Does anyone know the headlamp bulb model # ? H4, H3, etc. I am looking to upgrade my bulbs for some brighter ones. All i have is KAWAis part number 92069-0039. Any help would be great !! Thank You!!
  11. eeeeehhhh heck with it, i got extra bolts, and i'm not to worried about looks.
  12. winch mount pic
  13. One more thing i forgot that is important !!! Your gonna have to trim the front grille fascia to mount the winch !!!!
  14. You know i hate to admit it, but i really don't know how to post a picture on this website. I never have done it. If someone could help me out with this i will gladly post the pics !! Thanks if anyone can help me !!!
  15. Aldo, Now this is my opinion ! I think Warn is in with Kawasaki to try and corner the market on aftermarket winch installation/sales ! All i did was compare the mounting pattern from the bike and the Warn winch ! I then went online to Superwinches web site and got their dimensions to see if they matched and they did. I ordered the winch from Amazon.com and paid around 127.00 ( to include shipping ) which is a pretty good deal for a 3000 lb winch. The mounting plate is already on the bike from the manufacturer. I installed mine with no problems at all !! I will post some photos for you to see. Do you like your bike ? I love mine, it has plenty of low - midrange power. Probaly the best 2wd atv if have ever ridden. I can go anywhere i need to go. Kawasaki hit this one out of the park.
  16. Yep got a inline fuse. Just wanted to keep the switching simple, thats why i used the two pole switch. My winch when they installed it tapped into the cig. lighter as well. But i gotcha dont use cig. lighter when running lights, dont use winch with lights on ,,, and so on. One more question i can use my regular headlights on the atv when running the driving lights , can't i ? I would think it would be ok, since the only thing pulling is driving lights !!
  17. I installed 2 driving lights on the front of my 2012 300 Brute Force, My dad was walking by ,and added a comment " Better Watch it " you'll find yourself stranded. They are grounded , and the pwr wire goes thru a 2-pole simple switch.... on/off . I tapped into my cigerette lighter. Will that be a problem in the future it has a inline fuse. Does anyone think that adding a relay would be better than how i have installed it now ??? Comments would be appreciated !! Thanks All !!
  18. Swampcat07, I agree with you ! I figured it would put a strain on my elec. sys. ! Do you have any ideas on what i should look for ie: watts, amp draw, etc. whenever i go to purchase some lights. Like you said Led, but do you think HID's would be worth looking at ? If i am thinking right they do have the ballasts so it does'nt put a real big strain on the system. Right or wrong ? Any help is appreciated. Thank You for the info you have already provided to me !!!!!
  19. I've got a Kawasaki Brute Force 300 4x2 and i am going to start doing some night riding, from what i can come up with is that it takes a H4 35W/35W headlight. Would a h4 bulb with a higher wattage rating put a strain on my electrical system versus installing some PIAA off road lights made for atvs ? Now mind you that i have a Superwinch LT3000 also.
  20. This is for Wschamp. Bought the Superwinch because i think its a better winch than the the warn. I paid 123.00 for a 3000lb winch from Superwinch @ amazon.com My brand new rt1500 warn was good for only pulling small things out of my way, plus i got stuck and when i needed it to pull myself out it failed, would not even work. My opinion on a Warn is that all your buying is a name, and they are way overpriced 274.00 @ Rockymountain atv. Plus with the Superwinch you get a roller fairlead and a handheld remote. And another factor in my purchase of the Superwinch was i have a friend who has had one for 6 yrs and has had no problems with it. Hope this helps !!
  21. Hello all ! I am looking to replace the headlights in my 2013 brute force 4x2. Nothing is wrong with mine i just want some brighter light. I have noticed from kawais. oem parts picture that it is a , well what appears to be a 3 prong 35w/35w bulb. The part # on the light gives me no cross reference. I am leading to believe that it is a H4 bulb. Any help would be appreciated, because this fall i will be doing some long and late night predator calling to try and eliminate the coyotes on our 400 acre farm. They killed 2 calves this past spring and i am going to call them in and give them a bullet....lol. Just wondering because my night vision kinda stinks and i need bright light for going to my blind and other places. Any help would be appreciated, as in the past you all have provided good info. Thankyou !!
  22. This is just an FYI, the 2012 Brute Force 300 4x2 has a Warn winch mounting plate factory installed. Now they say in their website and brochures it accepts warn winches, but no other winches are listed. I am here to tell you that i have mounted a Superwinch LT3000 with no problems at all as far as installation, the Superwinch bolted right up quite nice to the Brute Forces mounting plate. Just an FYI !!! As this is the new Kawasaki Brute Force 300 4x2.
  23. Thanks for the info guys, but i am gonna have to get in good with a different mech. ! My front grille got butchered up when they " Professionaly " installed my winch. Imagine taking a hi-speed dremel and cutting thru plastic, then it gets hot, bubbles up and looks like crap !! Thats what happened to me, should have been measured twice, cut little by little using some sort of a side cutter, sheet metal cutter, then filed or sandpapered down to look good. I dunno i was a helicopter mechanic/aircrewmember for 11yrs in the Army and everything had to be perfect, because you have, lives, and equipment at stake. THX Again guys/gals !!
  24. Am i wrong ? But correct me if i am. Everytime a new atv comes out on the market it seems like 2-3 years before any performance enhancers are available to the public. Ohh well, at least i found a irridium spark plug which helped my performance noticeably.
  25. I looked up iridium the metal , and it is one of the hardest metals in the world, and a real defined spark on the plug....... i'm no expert, but i like them. No problems here with them. Tryin you might like em !!!
