  1. I don’t really know what could be an ugly side, it was a fast and decisive election result. The only sh** hitting the fan is happening with illegals and world governments currently taking advantage of a weak U.S. There’s a lot of “taking advantage” of the country the way it is now, and I think we’ll see some of that get addressed immediately. We see it now with some world leaders positioning for next steps with the return of Trump.
  2. He’s got the senate and looks like maybe the house holding the majority. He’ll get a few things done via executive action pretty fast. Legislatively he’ll have more ability than if the majority wasn’t in his favor in both houses. The Dems should focus on rebuilding their message and finding a new leader. They need to come towards the center more if they want to get back into power. The country has spoken, Trump won again.
  3. Glad the election did not go into overtime. Decisive victory by Trump.
  4. I voted early also, don't want the lines on Tuesday. Was just looking at my news feed...the days of opponents parking their cars close to one another is over, these two are walking by each other's planes...🤣
  5. I suppose after today this bullet point needs to be updated to “twice”. Unreal. Some people really don’t want him to win. Scary, it’s all over the news.
  6. Maybe, but he gets it done. You can’t argue that. Great for the border, business, economy, 401k… in that role, outcomes are what’s needed. I don’t need more windmills and males going into women’s bathrooms… the democratic agenda is just not aligned or a priority for me. I think there are many agree unless they are in a public sector job with a gov type pension, sitting on the system getting free healthcare and food stamps, or already well-off regardless of who wins.
  7. This election is a history maker in most aspects. First potential woman and first woman of color Leading candidate did not win any primaries and was a fill-in 90 days out Sitting president bowing out after a poor debate and declining health, pushed out by his party Prior president running again, went through the primaries and won Prior president/candidate being targetted by the justice system (most people would have bowed out with a deal not to run rather than face these legal battles) Prior president and candidate almost assasinated. Who's going to make the movie??? I think we can all see what we got with Biden/Kamala and Trump/Pence during their administrations. For me, put covid aside and thinking before that, the country was better off with Trump policies. That's just the reality. I don't care about his antics so much as I do about my family's wallet, my 401K, business climate (if you work for a small or large business) immigration spiraling out of control (it's a bit much if you are in a suburb of a major city), and wars abroad. Kamala can't fix that and it will probably get worse.
  8. Isn’t that something! I heard he wanted tampons in boys restrooms… very lefty! (I hope that’s not true) That’s weird.. which is his “catch phrase” for the republican ticket. We’ll be giving up gas cars in 15 years if these folks win. I think she felt comfortable with an old looking white guy like Joe… since he’s leaving and all and this guy can’t outshine her. Should have picked Shapiro.
  9. What I'm finding lately is that some people that don't like Trump for the rhetoric and behavior, didn't really start to pay attention until more recently over the past few years under Biden, recalling what their expenses looked like under Trump vs Biden. Groceries seem to be #1, then housing, car insurance, and general commodities that took too much of an increase not to notice. Add to that the immigration with illegals in plain site in neighborhoods and schools everywhere, and then its the wars going on. Pretty much everything else seems to be taking a lower position and most of those things are what the Democrats are running on. Kamala can't fix any of that now and its a bit funny for her to try and say she will as president. I think this guy sums up what some democrats are feeling: On another note, this is why I don't watch the Olympics. I'm 100% against athletes born males competing in women's sports. Its ridiculous and needs to stop. https://www.newsweek.com/boxer-imane-khelif-olympics-gender-test-1933160
  10. I think she wakes up in the morning and tells herself she’s the VP and still can’t believe it. I doubt it’ll happen, she bombed the primaries and is too far left. She’s having fun with it though.. you go girl!
  11. Subarus are very reliable from a mechanical standpoint. Good purchase!
  12. There it is folks...Biden is out and endorsing Kamala. Probably not the greatest strategy for democrats because she's very weak and nothing can change that over the next 100 or so days. Will be interesting to watch the convention. What a mess, he should have never did the debate, it clearly went downward since then and sank his campaign.
  13. Boy the pressure on Biden keeps mounting. Schumer, Pelosi and now today reports of Obama. Its just amazing that its happening now so close to the election. Most people saw Biden's decline when he was elected and questioned it then. Talk about blinders on. He didn't all of a sudden become the way he is after one debate, its just no-one can deny it anymore. Between a poor debate, the assassination attempt on Trump, Biden's covid (which might end up being the excuse he gets out with/health reasons) and the Democratic party turning on Joe, its turning into quite a spectacle. Sort of feel bad for the old mad. They're turning on him (including the media)... in public.
  14. Welcome everyone! Crazy events over the last 24 hours, If interested, we are talking about it here:
  15. Great perspective @davefrombc , you've clearly seen a lot of history and have 30+ years over me. I think that as things get heated and elevated, they'll reset just as fast once the people have had enough. This event with an attempted assasination of a former president and candidate for the presidency is a tipping point. I think we will see tempers go down as everyone just got a strong reality check of what could have happened. As I write this I think about what's changed, and the #1 thing that comes to mind is the internet, technology, media and overall connectivity. How fast information flows (good or bad) is what has helped build the highway for fast pollarization, sharing of opinions (good or bad) and just the overall of too much information available in an instant that sparks reactions. Too many opinion shows, youtubers, bloggers, etc. Sick individuals are easily influenced when they find an outlet sympathetic to their individual circumstance. On another note, I would bring fourth legislation that allows individuals to run for any public office up to and until the official social security retirement age. They can be in office after that if securing a term, but only run before that birth date. In additon to that, there should be term limits across the board in the houses.
  16. I think this is the type of rhetoric that empowers some people with a bit of “screw-loose” to do something stupid. This rhetoric of Trump being hitler and a threat to democracy is silly and extreme. Comes from the top, right from Biden. Trump and republicans need to tamp it down as well. Trump will more than likely win and then be gone after four years. Democrats have time to reset and put someone better up. In the interim, everyone needs to stop the stupid over-the-top, world-will-end, rhetoric and get a new hobby. The “screw-loose” people have nothing better to do than listen to it and be influenced to do something like this.
  17. Did you ever settle on a brand of exhaust for your Outlander? I would go HMF but it looks like its only for 2016 and 570
  18. The shooter registered republican in high school and voted but then its said he was donating to left groups. He also had a t-shirt on for some youtube channel for guns and ammo. Parents are behavioral counselors. He found something on the left that he must have identified with about Trump/other or is just a sick 20 year old who was influenced by stupidity. There have been conservative shooters as well. I wouldn't jump to conspiracies just yet, either way. However, its just really odd that there was an open line of site from the building where he was from and they took him out so soon. I'll say that, because either it was a huge oversight, or someone helped pave the way.
  19. It's a sad day in America. No matter what side you are on, an assasination attempt is over the line. Innocent people hurt and one killed. Unreal.
  20. That was hard to watch. Someone needs to help him and he needs to make some tough choices.
  21. I’m with @Mech check power at relay.
  22. With fuel injection, it’s like a car… I would take the throttle body off and inspect. Maybe get some throttle body cleaner and spray it first and see what that does.
  23. Good point, and funny. RFK is known for his vaccine stance mostly. I wonder if he’ll Ross Perot the election. At the end of the day, the policies are what matter to me and I would like to see the border and my cost of living more like it was under Trump. I’m for work hard to get ahead and limit the slow creep towards socialism. It’s happening unfortunately, we’re living it.
  24. That's a good point that often goes underdiagnosed with older quads, especially if they are sitting around. flush teh tank and change the inline fuel filter.
