    I think you may have some trash or varnish in your carb. Make sure both jets are clear of dirt and gunk.

    I agree with MWKE and just add I would change the oil now that way you are ready to go next season.

    It appears to be a voltage rectifier/regulator but someone who knows more about Honda's may know better. What year is your 400EX?

    Welcome to QuadCrazy!! Yep I rode 2003 Predator and they are very quick and fun to ride. I would change oil according to hours. I clean my air filter after ever ride. I do think you may be able to buy baffles for the pure exhaust but you might need to repack it also.

    I have an 86 Tin Top that my Father-in-Law is using right now so not to have to use his Ram 3500 as his daily driver. It is a beast in the woods.

    Do you have any fuel filters on it. Is it the same fuel that was in it while you were gone?

    I don't think there are much in the way of kits and stuff out there. I met a guy who had done a total restore on one and had the front a-arms made for it. You might try getting some different shocks, measure yours and find some other manufactures that are close.
