I did get it working! thanx for your reply. you have to have the rear brake set to complete a circuit to the starter relay and it was a connection problem in that little switch in the brake lever. Again thanx for your reply.

my grandgirls 08 90 outlaw will kickstart and run fine but will not crank over with start button, the battery is good and the relay tests good, it looks like the starter button completes the ground to the relay, is that correct? any ideas? thanx guys!
