  11. looks like a good time.
  12. I'm not to sure myself one thing I could think of is water getting in where your plug wire plugs on to your coil or spark plug. I feel it would mis in any gear not just 2nd or 3rd. If water was getting in your airbox & into your carb it would cause it to cutout as well. Their is a grease for electric connections you can put on all of you connections & it's for use where water may get too. You don't want water getting in your airbox Most airboxes have a drain in the bottom check yours and make sure it's not stopped up. If you had to empty it 5 ties how much water was getting in.
  13. I call it quad abuse I think we just have to learn to live with it if were going to ride. A new quad with eps & flexx bars would be nice.
  14. Well if it is the rings and you have to get her top end redone thats not to bad. It's better than a blown motor.
  15. Check on the internet their not cheap. There is some sites that show you how to make a homemade one for around 10.00 I think carb tune is one that gets good reviews but like I said it' not cheap. I made the homemade one. It works fine you have to be careful beause you use a liquid and you don't want it to get sucked into the carbs. 1 yard stick, 12ft. clear pvc tubing( found at home depot) I'm not sure if it's 1/8 or 1/4 I used zip ties to connect the hose to the yard stick find the center point of the hose and put it at the bottom of the ys fasten the tubing equally up the ys. I used sta-bil in my tubing. The ends of the tubes will slip onto the carbs. My prairie 650 is an 02 the tube ends goes on the right side of the quad the adjustment screw is on the left in between the carbs. The carbs are going to suck the fluid up the tube what your looking for is the fluid to be equal in both sides of tubing. If u do a sarch for homemade carb sync tool you will see what I'm talking about. That is if your quad has carbs and not fuel injected.
  16. It would be a dream come true to be young and be able to ride on a track like that. Your so lucky.
  17. That i one of the coolest things I've seen.
  18. Check your fuel lines for cracking, recheck float adjustment, recheck the jets and make sure you got everything good and clean. Now a good sign is to check the spark plug is it wet with gas, black looking, ect. It would help if you pulled the plug and post it's condition. There is a lot of people on here that can help the more info the better. A bad coil can cause one to shut off as the coil gets hot but I think you would be able to run it more than 5mins. Good luck!
  19. Sounds like rings. All that talk about a 700 has hurt her feelings. If it was just when you started her up and it went away valve seals. Sorry to hear that.
