  1. Is the new choke cable OEM?
  2. I've never had this happen to me but it sounds like you are confident in your abilities! I say go for it. Good luck and let us know how it went!
  3. Thanks you so much for your help. Unfortunately, I don’t believe that is what I need. My atv has a manual clutch and is water cooled. Unlike the one in this manual. I’ve attached a picture of the manual I am after for reference. Thanks again!! I went out to my barn and am not sure why I was thinking it was water cooled. It’s air cooled. I bet it was confusing it with my 400. Thanks!!!

  5. I live in the US! What country are you? I ride a Kawasaki bayou 300 4x4. What do you ride? Currently looking for a service manual.
  6. Does anyone have a digital copy of the service manual they are willing to share I’ve looked all over the place and I can find a free copy. Thanks!!!
  7. Chinese atv based on the stamping on the head.
  8. I would measure and make sure the cable they sent is the correct length.
  9. Try to find a wiring diagram for it on the inter web. Follow the wires and color connections. Check if anything is wired incorrectly. I bet something is wrong.
  10. Get your posts in folks. 10 posts isn’t that bad. I just found this site and am a couple post away from accessing the downloads.
  11. Check your spark plug wire. It may not be getting good contact to your spark plug boot. Snip just a little off the end to expose fresh wire. You can also test the spark plug boot. Make sure it is working properly. Always start with easy and cheap then work to most expensive. The manual will help you a lot.
  12. Everyone talks about Honda atv’s. What are the other reliable atv makes? Are there specific models to target? I’m currently looking at a 96 Kawasaki bayou 300 4x4.
  13. If you know someone with a borescope camera. Get some eyes on the cylinder walls. Will tell you right away what your problems are.
  14. If I was you I would try to clean out the old one and try it and while you do compare the two to see if they are an exact match.
  15. I believe you always go off of your vin’s 10th digit. If you titled your machine. The vin should be on the paperwork.
