Ajmboy replied to Matt Behnke's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
Edited topic title with quad info and moved to Yamaha forum. Was the chain replaced also? Can you take a link out of the chain, maybe it's stretched? Check out this video:- 1 reply

approx. 1995 400 Kawasiki Bayou Quad No Start
Ajmboy replied to Ursula Brandle's topic in Kawasaki ATV Forum
Hello Ed, have you checked for fuel? Did this quad sit at all for an extended period of time? I have seen the carbs corrode up and cause issues with fuel delivery. I would take the carb apart and check the float operation, make sure the float pin isn't stuck. Make sure your fuel petcock isn't causing and issue with fuel delivery. You want to check spark, fuel, and then timing. * Moved topic to Kawasaki forum. -
That's going to be tough to identify because there are so many variations of chinese quads out there. Are there any tags, serial numbers? * Moved topic out of announcements forum to other ATV brands forum.

yes in my opinion you can't go wrong with a Honda. If its used, just make sure it wasn't beat on too much. * Moved topic to Honda forum.

How much $ should I put into repairing a dead ATV?
Ajmboy replied to Kevin_Leduc's topic in General ATV Discussion
That's interesting that they want to pull the head off and suggest boring it out already. I'm assuming they took a look at timing, fuel, spark, etc. Unless it ran without oil or overheated, I wouldn't start opening the motor. Have they run a compression test? As far as how much to put into an ATV, I would look at book value vs how much you have invested with the purchase of the ATV and then how much it would cost you to get another one. Looks liek that machine is valued around $2k and if you cant get another one for $1k, I would probably fix it. http://www.nadaguides.com/Motorcycles/2003/Polaris/SPORTSMAN-500-H-O-499cc/Values If it's going to be around $2k, you may want to look for another machine for $2k and sell this one as is for $500 to $1000 or so to make up some money. -
Did anyone catch the Klitchko vs Joshua fight yesterday? Good fight.

Last night my friends invited me to go riding and since it was late, I couldn't get my grizzly prepped to bring it over and got a chance to use a spare Polaris RZR 800 my friend had. He took his Kubota out and my other friend was in his Honda Rancher. This was my first time driving a side by side utv, I've only ridden my ATVs. I say drive because it's like a car...steering wheel, foot pedals, bucket seats, etc. I was very impressed with how it handled and got through some mud areasand over some logs. We went out for about an hour so I got a good feel for the machine. I'm definitely a fan now!

2004 Yamaha Bruin 350 Compatible Rear End
Ajmboy replied to fixitalready's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
Topic moved to Yamaha forum and also added to topic title "Compatible Rear End". -
Welcome to QUADCRAZY! Looks like a chinese 110cc atv. You may have to do some searching online because it will be difficult to pin it to a main stream brand unless there is a seller branding their chinese quads specifically. Look on sites like https://www.powerdirtbikes.com/product-page/110cc-kids-sport-quad-hawk
