  1. Its good morning somewhere but here in lower NY we are getting our first decent snowfall, 3-5 inches, just enough to get the quad out with the plow
  2. If the frame, plastic, tires, and all is pretty good I would try and salvage it or sell it before scrapping it. Have you taken a look to see what it would cost you in parts new or used? Got a picture of it?
  3. This link is still good and great place to find spots by state. just click on the map. https://www.riderplanet-usa.com/
  4. Moved to South ATV & Off Road Forum regional forum. 😁
  5. Moved topic to Northeast ATV & Off Road Forum 😁
  6. Moved topic to South ATV & Off Road Forum regional forum. Division 6: East South Central (Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee) 😁
  7. Does anyone here "Deck the halls" with their ATV? Put lights on it or anything like that? One year here at QUADCRAZY, we did have a contest for decking out your ATV for the holidays. Outside of Halloween, I haven't done anything in a while.
  8. Reviving an old thread, especially now that we have LEDs! Has anyone put their lights up yet?
  9. That's a good point @DemonQuad666 about the rise of UTVs, but I think the other culprit are some of the large social networking sites like Facebook and the overall decline of people wanting to share on sites like this. Years ago, you would get more people posting pictures, rides, & videos. Today you mostly see people in forums asking for technical help and manuals which is fine, but I wish more people would share pics and such also. Someone is out riding and they see something cool, they are more than likely to post it on facebook these days.
  10. Many towns and government agencies have ATVs in their fleet. If you see some and take a picture, please post. I posted a couple in the gallery section of the Sheriff's Polaris ATVs. Pretty cool setup.

The Sherrif's department uses these Polaris ATVs in the field.
  14. Check your choke operation, air filter (make sure it's not clogged). It could be fuel not filling the bowl, carb jet issues, or even a coil issue on high rev. Can you reach the carb bowl and take that off and then check your float operation?
  15. What year is this king quad? Have you reset the ECU? * Topic moved to Suzuki forum.
  16. I agree that it sounds like a fuel starvation issue. Was the quad sitting at all for a while? Does it rev up ok?
  17. Welcome to QUADCRAZY! Does he need certain parts for his quad? Does he like to shop at certain online stores like motosport, bike bandit, rocky mountain, etc? You could get him a gift card to one of these. The other thing to consider is gear, riding gear and atv luggage from like kolpin or something like that. Depending on your budget, I would check out some of the sites. There are also these links to holiday gift guides you can check out for ideas: https://www.atvrider.com/buyers-guide-10-great-christmas-gifts#page-7 http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/452/mngr/atv-holiday-gift-guide.aspx http://www.chaparral-racing.com/blog/2014/12/09/10-holiday-gift-ideas-50-motorsports-enthusiasts/ https://dirtwheelsmag.com/home-page/christmas-gift-guide-great-gifts-for-your-riding-friends-and-family/ https://www.shopperschoice.com/content_content_10148.html
  18. Happy Thanksgiving, hopefully everyone had a nice turkey day!
  19. That's odd, I had no issues downloading it and it opens for me but I'm using chrome browser and it has an adobe plugin I believe. There are 468 pages.
  20. Wow, looking forward to some pics bud. I wish I could do something like this, sounds like fun. Just don't have the time. Please share how you are making out.
  21. Great topic, moved to This vs That forum. 😁 I prefer 4 strokes because I feel they are more like a car and I'm biased coming from the auto mechanics end of it. Also never liked the oil smell, smoke, and high rev noise of 2 stroke blasters and such. I went from a warrior to a bayou, then kodiak, then king quad, and now a grizzly. I again am biased towards the trail/utility/4 stroke machines. I never really spent enough on a 2 stroke to feel that in control feel but I guess i understand what you say. I'd like to try a fuel injected 2 stroke though...
  22. Hey @BuckBilly good to see you! Congrats on the new quad, looking good. Hope you got a good deal! 😁
  23. Welcome to QUADCRAZY!!!
