Great video, I like the "Yeah" at the end! Forecast calling for 12-16 inches of heavy snow in the lower hudson valley, NY area tomorrow, so winter doesn't want to go away!

I moved this topic into the Polaris forum. You can use the search feature up top to see if something is posted somewhere on this site but overall, all manuals are posted in the downloads section that are added by members and we ask anyone that has a file to contribute, add it there. I did not see one for a Polaris Predator and just uploaded the 2003 Polaris Predator 500 service manual below. I don't have a 2004 and hopefully the 2003 can help you. 😁

View File 2003 Polaris Predator 500 Service Repair Manual This is a service and repair manual for 2003 Polaris Predator 500 ATV. This manual is designed primarily for use by certified Polaris Master Service Dealer technicians in a properly equipped shop and should be kept available for reference. All references to left and right side of the vehicle are from the operator’s perspective when seated in a normal riding position. Some procedures outlined in this manual require a sound knowledge of mechanical theory, tool use, and shop procedures in order to perform the work safely and correctly. Technicians should read the text and be familiar with service procedures before starting the work. Certain procedures require the use of special tools. Use only the proper tools as specified. This manual includes procedures for maintenance operations, component identification and unit repair, along with service specifications for the 2003 Polaris Predator ATV. 2003 Polaris Predator ATV Service Manual (PN 9918062) Submitter Ajmboy Submitted 03/16/2018 Category Polaris ATV

I haven't seen a topic on these in a while. Do you have the VIN number or any documentation? You may be able with the VIN number to have it looked up and provide some sort of print out from the website possibly, if it's reputable.

DTV Shredder, Have You seen This?
Ajmboy replied to quadmaniac's topic in Water, Snow & Other Powersports
Wow, pretty cool. Reminds me of the old jet skis! 😋 -
Also to follow up on this topic, I currently have a yamaha grizzly with upgraded quadboss tires and rims which makes the quad sit higher and feels more aggressive which is great in the snow and mud but a bit overkill on regular trails and rips up my grass when rising around my house...lol. I recommend them if you like go in mud, water, snow riding, etc. In my opinion, if you like the feel and ride of stock tires just keep using them. If you want deeper traction and a more aggressive look, upgrade them. The skinnier and smaller the front tires are, the easier the turning is (manual steering).
-
They should be fine unless you are looking to upgrade them. The stock tires aren't the most aggressive but still good. I had a 700 king quad and got through all kinds of terrain with stock tires. Here was my favorite: If you look on Amazon at a few Carlisle tires, as you mentioned, you'll see some pretty good reviews. Carlisle AT489 All-Season Bias Tire - 25/10-12 84B 4 1/2 stars with 90 reviews Carlisle AT489XL ATV Tire - 25X8-12 4 1/2 stars with 63 reviews * Topic moved to Suzuki forum

NEW Voltage Regulator burning up - 2000-2001 quadmaster 500 LT-A500
Ajmboy replied to cfauvel's topic in Suzuki ATV Forum
This is from overheating and either its a bad unit, incorrect, or you have other issues. Unfortunately, you'll need to get another one and then start testing voltage. Can you post a picture?- 14 replies

Have you guys seen the new Textron Wildcat XX? It's pretty slick. There were rumors that it wasn;t going to be made from what I read and that Arctic Cat was working on it before the acquisition by Textron. Check out the videos below: There are a few good write ups on it: http://atvguys.ca/2018/02/26/confirmed-first-view-of-the-2019-textron-offroad-wildcat-xx/ http://www.atv.com/manufacturer/textron-off-road/2019-textron-wildcat-xx-review

We are getting hammered with snow today in lower NY.
-
When you say it died, did the battery die because you mentioned you needed to charge it. Maybe it's not charging. Or just wont start back up because of no spark again. * Topic moved to Yamaha forum and added ATV info into topic title.

Wow he's got some awesome rides there! I see you have a lift outside, air tools, the works. Is that at your house? Very cool, that's what I need a lift. I can appreciate the cars being in the auto industry with repair and now parts for over 25 years. There are just not enough of the younger generation getting into and rebuilding older cars, so it's great to see. Great photos and tat BTW. Glad to hear you are doing well and like a new man! If I remember correctly, you were one of the first that I see with a CanAM spyder, do you still have that and your trike? You were part of that 3wheeler group also, right? You also had an RZR, right? Yeah not trike related, but had to reply because so psyched to see you visit! 😝 Maybe I'll move these into a new topic. 😎

The Official Good morning thread!
Ajmboy replied to BuckBilly's topic in General Talk - Anything Goes!
Good morning, we got walloped in lower NY with heavy snow from this nor'easter. Many people out without power and no ETA. Luckily we only had some lights flicker but never lost power for too long. Trees down everywhere and wind was and still is pretty strong. Getting ready to take the quad out and plow this mess. -
Could riders be into this? Perhaps a new trend?
