@Ryan Murphy when you put in in gear. The light doesn't come on but it''s in gear and the ATV works fine? Just the indicator light is not showing up? I believe there is a neutral safety gear position sensor. I found this on ebay:

I do the same and have been using the valvoline atv and motorcycle oil. BUt my quad is an older 2004 if I get a new one down the road, I'll start it off with synthetic.

Isn't the lever on the right side a hand brake?

Are those aftermarket lights led or just upgraded bulbs with higher output? Have you tested your stator output and voltage regulator? I

Does this quad have the shift levers in front of the seat?

So this quad has a clutch? Existing hand brake is on the right side and clutch on the left? There is no way to add an aftermarket hand brake system. The hand brake engages the brakes via cable on most Chinese quads. The way it came from the factory is the way it is. I'm assuming your ITV station is some sort of inspection station? Can you take a picture of your quad and post it so we can see the hand brake setup and overall handle bars?

Welcome to QUADCRAZY! This is a first for me, never heard of that quad. Is that a UK ATV manufacturer? I would contact them direct and there are a couple of email addresses on this page http://www.apachequads.com/contact-us.php Does it look like this?

Did you try the downloads section? Maybe this one:

I would change the spark plug to make sure it's not the plug, check the wires and start from the cdi out to check and see if you have any wiring issues. Are there any lights flashing on the dash, is it digital?
