  1. Hi @toms99tj , welcome to QUADCRAZY
  2. Welcome to QUADCRAZY! That is a sick joke...lol. Check the downloads section for manuals.
  3. Welcome to QUADCRAZY! We get a few of these types of topics so if you can post some pictures in this topic of your Yamaha ATV, maybe you can get some help identifying it. I also moved your topic to the Yamaha forum and added to your topic title that you need help identifying your ATV 😁
  4. Welcome to QUADCRAZY! There's a lot of info on this site, just use the search box up top. There's also a new club created by @Justin Huff for bayous, you may want to join and network 😁
  5. Usually when they grind them off there's a chance it's stolen. It does look like a big bear, just not sure what year. Google "1999 yamaha big bear" and look at the images, it's very close.
  6. Yes, fresh oil makes a world of difference sometimes.
  7. Side view (to see seat and plastic), front view, and rear view. If you see any numbers stamped anywhere like on the motor or any tags on the plastic, take a picture also. 😁
  8. You could look at the member map and reach out to riders directly on this site my going to their profile page and sending a message. https://www.quadcrazy.com/membermap/ You can also run a member search by location https://www.quadcrazy.com/search/
  9. Like @Smokey Boyer said, could be valves ticking. Is is getting hot? Change the oil and filter if you haven't already. * Topic moved to Honda ATV forum and added Honda to the topic title.
  10. Unfortunately, the VIN is the best way. If it's scratched out, it may have been stolen and the thief tried to conceal it. Post some pictures and we'll try to identify it for you. If you are looking for parts, just try to match them up and see if anything is stamped. Chassis and such will be the same for all Big Bears in most cases.
  11. Check out these videos 😁
  12. That'll do it, high idle will make for tougher shifts.
  13. I was going to say 1995 big bear which you have in the topic title because it's newer but you just updated the topic with a 1987 big bear. So it's a 1987?
  14. Try adjusting the clutch, maybe? Topic moved to yamaha atv forum and added issue to topic title.
  15. Looks like a beast! Thanks for posting the photos 😁
  16. Does it do it if you turn the fuel petcock to reserve? Sounds like a fuel issue. No temp lights on?
  17. Those footrests stand out to me as either old atv or chinese. Haven't seen anything like that.
  18. WOW! Pretty awesome. Where do you buy all your chassis parts and non fabricated parts from?
  19. Congrats on the purchase. sometimes you can get away with washing the foam wrap bue I would probably just get one off of amazon. 1985-1989 YAMAHA Moto 4-200 UNI AIR FILTER YAMAHA ATV, Manufacturer: UNI FILTER Here's a manual for a 200. Change the air filter and clean the air box and you should be good. Change the oil and filter also.
  20. This is the only one I see
  21. Is that a textron UTV and is it electric?
  22. What year is it? Have you tested all your points and verified that there is no spark at the plug itself? Topic moved to Yamaha ATV forum and topic title changed to Yamaha 250 Bear Tracker No Spark 😎
  23. I don't think its adjustable without a special tool and the question is why is it low. I would try and clean the throttle body and check the throttle cable and make sure there is no dirt hanging it up. What year is it? Topic title changed to: Polaris Sportsman 800 EFI Low Idle
  24. Have you checked for spark and there's no spark? I always think spark, fuel, and then timing.
