Welcome to QUADCRAZY! Id love to see some pictures of riding up there in Alaska, must be beautiful! As far as parts, I always google search and always check amazon after looking at some of the main stream online parts houses like rockymountainatv, motosport, bikebandit, etc.

It's possible your neutral safety switch is bad.

Old Members Reunion Topic - Where Are You Now
Ajmboy replied to Ajmboy's topic in General Talk - Anything Goes!
Hey @quadnut20 good to see you buddy! -
What year is it? Have you played with the air/fuel mixture? So you've installed generic aftermarket carbs or swapped from other machines?
-
@Frank Angerano has one of these I believe. Here's another topic to check out:
-
@Jteam I added Transmission rebuild to your topic title. Hopefully, you'll get some responses.

Wipe it down and stick it back in and pull it out to see where it is, no screwing back in. Here's a good video:

This should be it:

Can you take a picture of than VIN # and post it? That VIN doesn't come up with anything even with the 7 changed to a 1.

Yamaha Big Bear 350CC 1991 Reverse Reving Problem
Ajmboy replied to Martin Carrière's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
@Martin Carrière I merged your two topics since they are basically the same. -
What do you mean by push forward, are you rolling it in gear to try and start it?

Yamaha Big Bear 350CC 1991 Reverse Reving Problem
Ajmboy replied to Martin Carrière's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
That's an interesting issue. I would check all the cables and levers and make sure when you put in in reverse, nothing is hanging up. -
2005 Yamaha Big Bear 400 Professional Edition Parts
Ajmboy replied to schroedz's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
I added the year and clarified the topic title a bit. I also moved your topic to the Yamaha ATV Forum. I'm not sure if you need different parts, I would imagine they are the same when it comes to the drive train. Plastics and such may be a little different and maybe suspension, tires, and rims. Not 100% sure though. -
Topic moved to Honda ATV Forum

Sounds like it could be the coil. They are cheap on Amazon, I would try and swap it out to see. * Added ATV year and manufacturer to topic title.

I agree with @George Henry , great intro and nice to see someone with so much love for the older ATVs and ATCs! I love king quads. I used to have a 2005 and it was great, but sold it when I got married. Thinking of going back to a king quad down the road. It used to get through anything and winter riding was especially fun! If you like ATCs, definitely check out the Three Wheeler photo category: https://www.quadcrazy.com/gallery/category/54-three-wheeler-atc-photos/

NJ and lower NY are tough for riding, I've gone further north into NY to ride. You can find trails here though, through power lines and wooded areas but more than likely you end up on someone's land. If the quad is registered, you'll get a fine and take it home. But if it's not registered and you get caught, it gets impounded. I keep my grizzly registered with NY plates and insured through allstate.

There are a decent amount of member contributed service manuals, some members have a added a bunch to the library to help other members, which is great.

Well that's a great price! I had a chuckle about hitting every tree..lol. Can you reach out to the aftermarket carb manufacturer? Do they have a website? Maybe there have a support section to send an inquiry to about the throttle cable.

is it in bad shape?

Congrats on the new King Quad! Post some picture, would love to see it. I'm a fan of king quads, had one a few years back. As far as parts, sometimes when they are the latest model year, parts go fast.

If you are looking for a used ATV for sale, where do you look? I know ebay and craigslist have used ATVs for sales and then sometimes you find local trade publications where they list used ATVs. I was looking online and decided to list out some websites that sell used ATVs. If you know of any additional websites or sources to look for or buy used ATVs, please post as a comment in this topic. eBay Motors - usually has a good selection of four wheelers, ATVs, and Side by Sides and offer seller protections Craigslist - usually has more local ATVs, but be careful as there are no seller protections ATV Trader - has over 130k ATVs listed by private sellers ATVSoup.com - new and used ATVs for sale WantAdDigest - Shows local listings of ATVs for sale ATV.com - List new and used ATVs for sale When buying a used ATV, make sure you do your research and find out the book value of the ATV, look over the condition of the ATV, and as for verification of ownership. Be careful who you buy from and get the ATV checked out by a professional dealer or repair shop if you are baying a high price. Watch our for VIN numbers that are scraped off, this is usually a sign that the ATV was stolen.
