Boy that's an old topic...lol. I don't recall (no pun intended) the recalls on the king quad I had back in the day except for the ecu which I never had done and ended up selling it anyway.

I broke out your reply to the new member topic and created this new topic for you so any replies to your questions are separate from the topic started by someone else 😁 Can you take a look on the frame and see if you see a VIN number stamped somewhere? It might also be on a small metal plate maybe left rear area of the ATV. If you find the VIN number, you'll easily identify what year this king quad is.

Just saw this topic, I used to have a 2004 KIng Quad. Was going to say that you definitely have an electrical issue if you can bypass and get the fuel pump to work. These quads have more electrical with the fuel injection and all than older quads. Fix those melted wires and try to find out what may have caused it. You may need to replace the regulator/rectifier. * Topic title adjusted to include ATV issue

A little more info on what type of ATV would be helpful and if you lost electrical or something else while riding. What happens when you tried to restart? Are there ignition lights?

That's a good tip @flyinbrian365 . Could it be that new carb is not jetted properly. Is that a factory or aftermarket carb? How's the air filter?
