1986 Yamaha Moto4 225 (YFM225) Stuck in Neutral
Ajmboy replied to anryu451's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
Is that semi auto or clutch? How's the oil condition/level? I agree with @Frank Angerano maybe it already had tranny issues. -
Welcome to QUADCRAZY @Stephen Mcwilliams !

Thanks everyone for the responses! Good topic and very helpful. I ordered the black and decker because of the accessory plug, price, and overall reviews. We'll see how it goes.

Harbor Freight Tools Rules! Show off your stuff
Ajmboy replied to pokerl0w's topic in General Talk - Anything Goes!
Nice job! I don't have a a Harbor Freight close by and mostly use Home Depot. Love the topic though and will need to look at Harbor Freight more closely. I will add this though....Since this summer, we've been working on an addition and I've been buying all kinds of stuff I didn't already have. I'm a fan of Milwaukee M12 tools (used to have Dewalt which is good too) because they have so many tools in that series. I've had a drill for a while and an Oscillating Multi-Tool , but in the past 4 months I've bought 2 M12 screw guns on ebay for like $45 each (tool only), M12 impact for $45 (tool only), PEX A expansion tool for my plumbing for $99 (tool only) and a 2 pack battery and changer kit for $59 at True Value Hardware. I also just bought standard and metric wrenches and screw drivers at home depot but the other day I noticed I could get craftsman at lowes. I used to be a mechanic at sears auto years ago and was always a fan of craftsman tools with the occasional snap on or mac tool in the collection. -
With this cold snap, I noticed yesterday that the battery on my grizzly was a little weak. even clicked a few times before I got it to start. I'm thinking of picking up a batter tender/ trickle charger so was wondering what people use to keep their ATV battery charged up. I was looking at these on amazon. They both have good reviews. or this one Kind of like this one because if the accessory plug

The trick is to stay warm and not wet. Clothes you would use for skiing or snowboarding, I find work very well in the northeast. warm socks, cloves and good head warmth under helmet and you should be all set.

Isn't it fuel injected? I used to own a 2005 myself. Like @Kent Mettler mentioned, do you hear the fuel pump going on? * Topic moved to Suzuki ATV Forum

The trick is to reduce the weight of the soil more to the bottom of the wall and have good drainage. I may have to do this down the road on a smaller wall we have that is leaning a bit. I would use concrete block, some rebar, maybe 1 - 2 inch gravel for drainage behind the wall with possibly some corrugated piping for additional drainage if needed. There's some good images you can google to get some ideas.

Pretty good video on the history of Suzuki ATVs if you are interested in some ATV education. Starts off from when three wheelers were the norm. Suzuki, A company with about 100 years of manufacturing history is company built on bold innovation and the courage to push forward with new ideas. One of these new ideas was created in 1983, when Suzuki invented the first four wheeled ATV and introduced it to the world. At the time three-wheeled ATVs were the norm, and Suzuki’s four-wheeled ATV the LT-125 created an al-new vehicle category and literally changed the industry.
