Share Your ATV Lift Kit Photos

@Brandon Barrow Looking good! -
I was disappointed to see the chain rather than shaft. Hope the fenders are "ding-proof". What if this thing goes through a deep puddle or gets submerged in water, is it fried? Battery compartment better be water tight. Would love to see a parts/component diagram of the ATV.

I saw this and started a topic also lol...

Did you try hitting the starter with a hammer a few times? Might have landed on a dead spot. Tap it a few times and see if it cranks.

@davefrombc I agree, there are only a few re-builders out there. In most cases you are getting new brushes, bearings, and sometimes new regulator if not external and solenoid. @bradleyheathhays I would go with one of the new choices from rockauto

So too stiff or too soft on the stock suspension? I don't think you can go wrong with Elkas but you'll drop $1k to do that. This article is worth a check on the 250x, they used the elka suspension as well. https://www.atv.com/manufacturer/honda/honda-trx250x-project-shocks-exhaust-protection-and-more The kit Elka built for our TRX250X features remote reservoirs front and rear for added cooling. Elka’s legacy series shocks feature spring preload, low-speed compression damping, and rebound damping on the rear shock. The ideal amount of adjustment for most recreational riding and even some beginner level racing. They’re built for your weight, type of riding, chassis setup, tires, and more. With our TRX250X now sitting around 44.5” wide, it is much more stable, allowing us to carry more speed into and out of turns; plus the quad stays more planted on side-hills. The wider rear end spreads the machine’s weight out, allowing for more predictable and easier to execute power slides and boosting the ATV’s fun factor. Our only complaint is a small but manageable increase in steering effort, leaving us happy we’d stuck with the +1.5” wheel spacers.

Tesla made an ATV to complement its Cybertruck they just showed off. Its called the Cyberquad and will only be available with the truck to start. Cool name "Cyberquad"... Has anyone seen this? Thoughts? All electric and plugs into the truck to charge. Here's the Cybertruck introduction (Cyberquad ATV at 3:50)

I would agree with @06kfx440 on that. Is this the winch and is that the plate? Also, is it remote only or is there a wired switch you can install? Just curious.

Has it sat for a while or did it just start happening all of a sudden? When was the last time it ran fine? Did you do anything, tune up, part changes? -

My guess is you have a bad battery. -
I ended up buying 2 on ebay used in January 2018 so the other one was laying around. Over the summer it finally broke so before the winter comes I figured let me get it installed. Alvin chewed through my wiring for the winch remote (which I can't even find anymore)..lol. The other side I had fixed still going strong.

Well today I started on the other side because I only did the one side when I started this topic. I Actually started off today taking my front wheels off to check a brake squeal but ended up pads were still good. I think my wheel bearing is squealing. I sprayed some lube and it seemed to stop, so we’ll see. Thought it was the backing plate or cracked pad but they were fine. Still have this used footrest, drilled out the broken screws. Just coated it with some rust converter and will spray it tomorrow. Chipmunks made a mess of under the seat wiring. Had to address that..

Depends on what you want to spend, you can get a universal for cheaper or something designed for your king quad like this from Vip-Air and on amazon:
