Great question. CCA stands for Cold Cranking Amps. The higher that rating, the more power you will notice cranking. Here's a good resource: https://www.autobatteries.com/en-us/how-to-choose-your-car-battery-replacement/battery-cold-cranking-amps-cca Generally speaking, it is easier to start an engine in a warm environment than in a cold one. The rating refers to the number of amps a 12-volt battery can deliver at 0°F for 30 seconds while maintaining a voltage of at least 7.2 volts. The higher the CCA rating, the greater the starting power of the battery.

Old Members Reunion Topic - Where Are You Now
Ajmboy replied to Ajmboy's topic in General Talk - Anything Goes!
Going good, no complaints! Yes no upgrade required, optional. Premium is really meant for more features and immediate access to downloads and posting. New members have their first post(s) moderated if joining free (to avoid spammers) and need to have a 10 post content count to access downloads. Paid memberships bypass that and grant immediate access for new members. Elite has a bit more and no ads. Glad to see you here! -

2003 Suzuki Eiger 400 ATV Gear and Accessories
Ajmboy replied to erthsole's topic in General ATV Discussion
@erthsole try rockymountain, bikebandit, motosport, dennis kirk, cheap cycle parts, and amazon. I personally always check amazon after I check other sources online and only because I;m a prime member and can get the free ship. On amazon you can go here: * Updated topic title with more detail- 2 replies

Passenger hand warmers for Sportsman 570 touring ?
Ajmboy replied to name's topic in Polaris ATV Forum
Did you ever find anything? I've only seen handlebar warmers. Where would you mount them for a passenger? The only thing I've seen are the heated seat kits: You can probably fabricate something, but depends on what you have there like passenger handles. -
Did you get it running yet? Take out the spark plug and see if it cranks freely with no cylinder pressure.
-
I noticed you never got any help with this. Have you solved your issue?
-
Is this is? Because if so, the product details give you some dimensions...😋 Although, for $20 I would just buy a new one...

Yamaha 350 4x4 Big Bear clutch issues or ???
Ajmboy replied to Bruce Sawyer's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
Did you change the oil with incorrect oil by chance? The oil has specific additives for clutches. Check out this topic: -
I would probably try an ATV salvage place in Alaska and ask them how they would find an engine. Not sure where this is, but I would start with ATV businesses like this. Maybe someone like: Or contact this place in Anchorage

Welcome to QUADCRAZY! Does the starter crank fine, just no spark? Have you taken out the plug to test? How did you test for no spark?

I've tried carbs for other quads and equipment and most of the time they are fine. They are available on amazon for $30 or so. Carburetor For Polaris Phoenix 200 Sawtooth 200cc ATV 2005-2017 Quad Carb

Another great find! Craigslist? I have a friend in CT who is looking for a quad with plow also, not sure if he found one. That's pretty cool how you are able to help him out. How much did you steal it for? What state did it come from?
