@spock58 its amazing how much tech CanAm puts in its quads. I've never had a quad or any power sport catch on fire. Flipped and banged them up is about it!

Same in Los Angeles from what I read. Less vehicles driving.

That's awesome. My neighbor told me about this today. He took his mother down to westchester to see them fly over.

Sounds like a fuel problem but are you getting them to start with the choke on and then turning off?

Good point @Frank Angerano and after that I would test for power to the solenoid and start tracing back to the ignition switch.

Figured I’d replace the bearing now than in the winter if it goes. Replaced the oil pump chain but the old one and new had same amount of play so probably didn’t need to do that.... Got the flywheel off and couldn’t find my 6mm allen socket to take off the bearing, so ran to Lowes and bought a metric set. Go it off and went to put the new one on and realized it’s wrong! I must have messed up in my searching on eBay and bought the wrong one. Cleaned the old one and reinstalled. Put it back together and fired up after cranking for a bit after messing with the choke, almost like timing off but then started. Still need to put antifreeze in it, no way to do it without disconnecting coolant hoses. I cleaned the bearing and inspected. We’ll see how long it lasts. At first when it wouldn’t start I thought maybe I messed something up. I’ll get back at it tomorrow hopefully.

I also see you have children's motrin which we do as well but I read that all ibuprofins like motrin and advil can have an adverse reaction with coronavirus so we also have children's tylenol. Sucks because I think my oldest gets a bit of a rash from tylenol.

Can cross off a few things...just filled a 20 yard dumpster these past few days. Pretty much done with that today Decided against the minnow tank, will just fish with what I can or catch some... Had my friend over and did some excavator work and tree replanting around teh yard, but he has to come back, so I won't mark that as done. Water inside my equinox might be fixed, not sure. Put tape around the sunroof and seems to have gotten better although I'm still drying her out and no new puddles. Still testing. Gotta get the quad going next and get the awn seeded and aerated.

So you bought it with the motor out and apart? Where are you now with it, is the motor on a bench? Sounds like some cylinder honing and oversized piston rings. At that point, I would take it to a machine shop for small engines and have them check it out.

I haven't even started to put this back together yet. Got shifted to other projects like landscaping....and because walmart hasn't sent me my oil, I now have to run out! I ordered it on April 9th and still delayed... So I decided to also order it for pick up and will probably run out Friday or Saturday because I need to go to a bunch of other places...was trying to avoid going to the store unless I absolutely had to and they have the best price...with corona its a process...mask, gloves, disinfect everything, shower 15 times... Hopefully back together this weekend.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to see mp4 videos. What happens is that when people upload videos from an apple device, it's .MOV file but other devices are .MP4. Apple doesn't play .MP4 natively from what I understand.
