You're going to have variances with engine rpm on an atv. Most atvs I believe run 14.1-14.8 volts unless rpm is below the optimum rpm. With a draw it should not go below the battery voltage. It still could be a bad battery. You should have it load tested.

Sounds like you are running out of fuel in the bowl of the carb. I would suggest taking the carb apart and looking at the float movement. Make sure that the pivot is not corroded. * Changed your thread title to folllow forum announcement guidelines

Threads and posts are renamed by our moderators to be more search relevent and as descriptive as possible. For instance I just added the full year and manufacturer name. We do this in the branded forums to help get people to the threads they are looking for. Since your quad is stock, I would shy away from any jet kits. Have you inspected your spark plug(s)? Try replacing that first.

Welcome to QUADCRAZY! It sounds right, you're letting too much air in causing the lean condition. The engine is demanding more because of the modifications. Maybe you should go a little higher in jet size or go with a more restrictive air box assembly, but you may loose some power. * Adjusted your thread title for better searches

I think that was the first year of the 750 Brute Force. You could have got it in a 650 or a 750. I remember people saying that the 750 was an animal. I remember because I have a 700 king quad which is an 05. The 750 Brute Force was easy to loose control on because of the power, and easy to get the front wheel off the ground. That's pretty much what I was told back then and the fact that it was a great machine. I woudl do a googl search and see if you find threads liek this: HELP! I'm keeping Raptor8 in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us updated on any news. For those that were not in the community yet, Raptor8 was a moderator here who helped many people with his technical expertise. He took the time out to help members in the community. I remember reading a thread where BOT and DrtyGirl hooked up with him and I believe met through QUADCRAZY...(not sure though, BOT, correct me if I'm wrong). I wish him a speedy recovery, and all the best.

Hmm..does this atv have a feature where it will start in gear if you depress the parking brake? If so, is it starting in gear without depressing? Or not starting with it depressed?

I had the Motorola i series phones and hated the dropped calls. I went to a hybrid phone..ic series. My last one was an ic902 worked great because it uses the Sprint Network for phone and Nextel for 2-way. I have a couple of ic phones I'm going to put on ebay at some point.
