  1. what parts...gauge or level sensor..or both?
  2. I understand the calendar idea...but every month in the contest, there is a theme under which to enter under. So they could use the best mud photo, or best racing photo...whatever within a calendar. Why don't you post some new theme examples...because I'm still not understanding exactly what type of ATV theme(s) you are thinking about.
  3. What are you replacing, the gauge or the level/sensor in the tank? What is actually broken?
  4. Reviving an old thread... My buddy just bought a 2008 SPORTRAX 250 EX 2WD for $2199 from Troy city garage in New York so the deals are out there for name brand. He bought it to screw around on. He also owns a 2009 rancher.
  5. Yeah, I'm scared of those off brands.
  6. Welcome aboard! Both great quads. I used to own a 2004 Kodiak 450 and a 1987 Warrior...
  7. Welcome to QUADCRAZY, I used to own a 2004 Kodiak 450, loved that machine also.
  8. How do you like that quad? Is it independent rear suspension or solid axle? It uses the 700 frame I believe. Does it ever feel under powered?
  9. #14....somewhere on the tranny. * Adjusted your thread title to include year, make, and model.
  10. They are themed almost every month, well this month it's a video contest.
  11. Just like DD said. Soemthing is hanging up. If it's the wrong clutch kit, that could be a problem. Did you compare old and new parts?
  12. No I guess I assumed it.....
  13. Here are some areas to troubleshoot..right from a warrior manual (notice what DD said...as a possibility with the valves): If timing or Firing incorrect: Spark plug dirty, broken, or maladjusted Spark plug cap shorted or not in good contact Spark plug incorrect Ignition coil trouble Fuel/air mixture incorrect: Main jet clogged or wrong size Jet needle or needle jet worn Air jet clogged Fuel level in carburetor float bowl too high or too low Bleed holes of air bleed pipe or needle jet clogged Air cleaner clogged, poorly sealed, or missing Air cleaner duct poorly sealed Water of foreign matter in fuel Carburetor holder loose Fuel tank air vent obstructed Fuel tap clogged Fuel line clogged Compression low: Spark plug loose Cylinder head not.sufficiently tightened down No valve clearance Cylinder, piston worn Piston ring bad (worn, weak, broken, or sticking) Piston ring/land clearance excessive Cylinder head gasket damaged Cylinder head warped Valve spring broken or weak Valve not seating properly (valve bent, worn, or carbon accumulation on the seating surface.)
  14. Wow, nice idea. So I guess you know how to weld!!! What are your dimensions going to be? Are you puting a a gate in the back?
  15. Then the contest needs to go into the G-Spot area....
  16. Welcome to QUADCRAZY..NVBUSA, I know it's an older thread...but must have missed it.
  17. Welcome aboard!
  18. Welcome aboard! So you ar ein Washington state? I always wanted to go there with my quad and look for Bigfoot...

  20. I'm still calling the Yanks in 6!!!
  21. I use Valvoline ATV oil which has all the additives needed. Some use AMSOIL ATV oil.
  22. BB..sorry, I never commented on this thread...but that's a sweet atv. I like it. My friend has an 09 also, camo. Before that he had an 07 yellow Rubicon. This is him: crazyeddy's ATV Page » QUADCRAZY ATV Community but he doesn't come on much online.
  23. I'll see if I can get some suggestions from a friend of mine who has a Rancher. * I added the year, make, and model of atv into your thread, to get better responses.
  24. What year and model is your cat?
  25. Thanks for posting this!
