    Shouldn't be more that 0.5 ohms...so hook up the tester and wiggle the wires around.

    Just like DD said..you need to trace the power loss when it is happening. I bet you have a bad connection or relay or switch issue.

    yeah, saw that ad was: "This posting has been flagged for removal" I believe the Rancher is full time 4WD.

    Check that coil like DD said..sounds like it could be your issue. Actually your post said you are replacing some electronics. Let us know how you make out. I would start with the coil first.

    Heck...we have a forum moderator named Outlander...How much Can-Am/BRP friendlier can we get.... QUADCRAZY is different than other sites and would not put it in the same category. Pretty much, everyone here is nice, normal, and friendly. At least that's my opinion.

    I also agree with DirtDemon, there must be a solenoid or actuator somewhere there. Get a wiring diagram. Do you have a manual?

    Have you tested the battery to see if it is taking a charge? How old is the battery? A good Clymer manual should have a wiring diagram in it. * Adjusted your thread title for better responses, added year, make, and model.

    I agree with DD. If the battery tests fine, more than likely it's a loose connection at the battery or bad cable. Have you checked your connections yet? * Added year and manufacturer to your thread title, for better searches.

    It happens when the float is not leveling off and shutting off fuel flow. In the past I would have to shut off the fuel flow switch when parked, not to loose gas. * Added year, make, and model to your thread title.
