Yes, I belive the 2003 and 2005 are interchangeable. You can use 400 or 450 plastic. I used to own a 2005 Kodiak 450. * Note to mod, please move to Yamaha forum and rename: 2003 yamaha kodiak 450 fenders.

Can't you use a 3/8 ratchet, spark plug socket, and extension bar...with a swivel?
