    I would think it is possible since they are both yamaha 350 engines. You will however need to do some research, unless someone here has done this already. What year are the machines?

    What year is your quad? It very well may be that your battery is bad and not able to function under load and recooperate. How old is that battery?

    Welcome to QUADCRAZY! Always glad to see people form overseas and especially our military!!! Sounds like fuel starvation to me and possible an issue with your carb and float level or pin issue, where the bowl runs dry and does not fill up in time. Have you taken apart the carb?

    Sounds to me like you need to change the oil. The transmission uses the oil from the engine. When was the last time you changed it? I know you said it was full and clean, but maybe it's broken down. After you ride it for a while..it loosens up, maybe because the oil is being warmed up and circulated. * Added Manufacturer to thread title.
