  1. Could be the ECM, but hopefully not. There's some troubleshooting the dealer would do. You could refer to the manual and check the temp sensor resistance and output voltage. If you say all else is working, that may be the next step. Do you have the service manual? I just uploaded 2102-2014 which is the closest I could find:

  4. I think that's normal because when you unplug the sensor it causes and open and the fan defaults to turns on. If its plugged in and not turning on, my bet would be a faulty sensor or fan breaker.
  5. @Frank Angerano I'm happy to see you online and know that things are ok with you! Glad you like the pic, my wife makes these masks and that's the pic she took to use and sell them on etsy and her website: https://www.cristinacanvas.com/listing/821687721/camo-face-mask-for-men-camouflage I figured I'd use it as my profile pic. They're selling like hot cakes! I keep telling her its not the mask but the model behind the mask...lol Happy Father's Day!
  6. Good to hear! I merged this with your original topic. 😁
  7. So the coolant/temp sensor is unplugged your fan turns on? You have "unplugged" twice there, just trying to understand. Might be a bad sensor or relay.
  8. Is there a belt on the other side? My first thought is you got water in the belt housing (if there is one) and its slipping. If there is a belt housing, then there must be a drain plug somewhere also more than likely.
  9. Good Morning All! Happy Father's Day to all the dads. 85 degrees today in lower NY. First day of summer was yesterday, but for some reason always thought it was the 21st...lol.
  10. Happy Father's Day!
  11. @MarkinAR is right, here's the parts schematic from partzilla
  12. Cuomo's last daily briefing...I enjoyed these when I could watch them. Time for a Gov from another state to get millions of TV viewers. NY has been hit hard, I hope some of these other states aren't going through the same now. Shutting everything down really sucks.
  13. Have you tried partzilla or rockymountain?
  14. Kodiak is a great quad, I used to have a 450 myself. My first thought is that the battery is defective. Do you have a battery booster pack or 12v source to jump the battery when it happens to rule that out?
  15. Those quads use a 4WD actuator to engage/disengage. I would start by checking that out. When did it start happening, did something happen?
  16. If it only runs when you are adding a fuel source, you have a fuel issue. You mentioned a new carb, is it getting fuel?
  17. were you able to decode the vin?
  18. My bad...need to learn to read!
  19. Have you looked on ebay? https://www.ebay.com/i/350035623743?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=350035623743&targetid=882887725827&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9004231&poi=&campaignid=6469750705&mkgroupid=89041169916&rlsatarget=aud-622027676388:pla-882887725827&abcId=1141176&merchantid=6568184&gclid=Cj0KCQjwiYL3BRDVARIsAF9E4Gekr_Q2lasGvNYyvr8k325NmepmSx4pqXw4cpspD8jdPDAOqp7oUecaAlkPEALw_wcB
  20. This could be fun...well if you got it to turn over that's good. Here's what I would do: Change the oil Check/Change/Clean the air filter Clean the carb/spray some cleaner in there at least Check for spark Charge the battery or replace it Try starting it again
  21. There are some sealants that can patch cv boots, just depends on how long it holds. This stuff came up online for cv boot repair some people claim works: Some people have tried rubber cement. The fix is to just replace the boot or axle but if you want to try something like sealing, can't hurt. Maybe you seen this video below?
  22. @Frank Angerano hasn't been on lately. I messaged him the other day again but haven't back. A couple of weeks ago he mentioned being slammed with work, so hopefully all is good. I have a 5 year old and 12 year old, so covid is top of mind for us, especially when comes time to go back to school. Both were very sick Dec/Jan with what turned out to be pneumonia, so we were very concerned after covid came out...actually we were happy they kept them out of school. I'll check out that topic 🙂
  23. LOL...grew a full beard for 2 months, but then shaved it.
  24. Sounds like a cable adjustment issue. There should be a reverse lockout safety cable which may need adjustment or replacement. Try pushing around the shifter a bit to see if reverse engages
  25. Here's my camo corona virus mask... 😜 Now my profile photo! Have a second one also. Gotta wear a mask when you go out to a store here in NY! My wife makes and sells them on Etsy and her website https://www.cristinacanvas.com/
