If it wasn't for the Hamptons and the draw to go out there by some of the wealthiest, Nassau would be a NYC borough and Suffolk would be "sidestate (instead of upstate...lol)". Did you try letting the rear brake adjustment all the way out and see if it works? Sounds related. That cable is lubed up right?
