so i took the stator cover off last night to look at the stator it self looks clean, the wires on the out side look ruff, some look very old, but i bet heat got to them. but i will ohm out the wires tonight and test for continuity to make sure they are not broken. i get it that the stator provides charging. but the pick up send out the spark. here is a picture of it

can anyone assist me on the meter readings, i have a manula but it does not provide alot of great detail. or am i missing something

i clcked on the link from your last message, do you know if there is a manual online here i can download. i purchased one wire diagram looks correct but the headlight switch start stop has more wires then in manual. i did post it on my thread..
oh yeas i cant connect to the site from all devices only the one. can you tell me how to fix that

thank you all for the reply. i was over seas for a month, back home now but a little cold to beworkiing in a non insulated shed next to a lake. so i need temps to be higher then 32 . i can work i that but not below freezing.

Forgot to say I was told it is a 1998 Yamaha Bigbear 350 4x4. Has a shifter on left side in the fender H/L/R the rack has a cut out or bend in it to allow the shifter . Hope this helps

so i cant read the vin clearly but i have added some pictures, hopefully someone sees it correctly. took a picture of what it looks like, they painted it Green It is underside a SKY BLUE original. has one spark plug . 3 relays in the back + rectifier. has one relay in the front. has cdi in the front three plugs off it. If you need more info or pictures please ask. the wire harness is trashed i want to rewire it but correctly.
