I am having the same problem 😕 I am not sure what cable you are referring to. When I had engine apart everything seemed to go back ok..... I worked shifter by hand and gears seem to operate as expected????....but when put back no go......shifter feels correct and lights all work??. Any direction appreciated. Rich
