Took it back to dealer and he said the knock is the oil pump and that all Polaris`s do it.

Hi. New to the forum. Just recently purchased a new 09 Sportsman 400 AWD. Is the knock or rattle that these atv`s make at idle normal ? Goes away as the engine is revved up. Was also told it could be gear rattle. Thanks in advance.
