That's the problem they just won't fit anymore I'm so lost as to what I'm doing wrong I've already lossened it all the way and it's the actual "hydraulic" height that's to high I'll grab some pictures tomorrow
-
I'll grab one tomorrow that's what I was thinking it shouldn't affect the hight of the spring just the stiffness
-
It seems like the rear end of the bike won't drop down far enough

1989 Yamaha Moto 4 sputtering after new carb

Finally got her put together anyone have any tips for keeping these guys running and idling good she won't idle and stay idling she runs fine but I can't quite figure out how to tune the carb right. Was also wondering if anyone knows if the bike needs a battery to run the lights while it's running Snapchat-1889914558.mp4 -
I'll always pick makuni or a rebuild kit for one

Hey all back again with my 1989 moto 4 250. After putting a new carb on it it's really sputtery, it has new gas and I'm wondering what to tune on the carb to make it idle better. I've attached a video to describe the issue more. The bike is still work in progress but I think the video gets the point across. Thanks! Snapchat-1142015191.mp4

Wires are there I was under the impression it ran from the motor and didn't need a battery

Hey since you all were so helpful on my last post gonna start another one. The bike had 0 electric hooked up but the guy had a wench hooked to it. Couldn't find a electrical diagram online but I'm trying to make the lights work and the speedometer any tips for me?

Actually I got it running decent and got her all back together turns out it was the hand throttle it was bent up causing the carb to be constantly open video attached is before I put the plastics back on still waiting on a new throttle but it works Snapchat-438180394.mp4
