So I bought this quad and it came without an ignition coil or the bolts to mount it. The coil that I purchased from ebay also does not have the bolts. I purchased some bolts and spacers but what I cannot tell from photos and repair manuals is whether or not the mounting bolts are electrically insulated from the frame of the quad. Does anyone know? I just don't think it would make sense for it not to be electrically insulated with rubber? So before I go searching for rubber does anyone out there with more knowledge know what to do in this situation? Bolts in the photo.

Hey everyone I bought an 85 Kawasaki Bayou 185 and it was missing a few parts on it such as the ignition coil. I bought one on ebay that came without mounting bolts. So my electrical question is do the mounting bolts have rubber insulators to prevent the coil from contacting the vehicle frame? Or is it supposed to be in contact with the vehicle frame? My thought is that is should be electrically insulated from the frame but I just want to be sure. Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Azpatriot792
