I don't know if this will help or not. Where the rag is stuffed is where the thermostat goes. The little shiny spot is the bolt. I tried to redrill it after the ez out broke, but my bit keeps bouncing off of the damn ez out that is stuck in there. I know if I screw up the hole it won't seal. I don't want to have to replace the freaking head for a broken bolt.

I need to know what my options may be for a problem with my truck. I was replacing the thermostat and the freakin' bolt for the housing broke off. I drilled the broken bolt and tried to use an EZ out. Well the freakin' EZ out broke inside the broken bolt. I am stuck:mad: Talked to a mechanic about it, but they didn't seem interested in helping me and never called back. The truck it all tore apart in my garage. Front grill off, radiator out, thermostat housing removed. Can this be fixed or am I SOL. I can't get out riding till I get this fixed and wife says I am starting to get cranky.

Hi, I am a Polaris guy so I like your choice of quad. I don't know a whole bunch of how to fix them. I do my own work, but have to research the manual and previous posts on here all the time to help me through. I do learn a lot from reading about how others fix their problems so I will be watching to see what you end up doing to your quad to get it going.

accidents happen, don't be so hard on yourself. I have a lot of unexpected deceleration moments, unexpected gravitational pull variances, and some other unexpected planetary involvment incidents . The only thing I really learned was how to fall better, because I know it is gonna happen again. Wear safety gear, stay alert and be ready for the unexpected. Ride to have fun and you will have fun riding.

From what I have heard they are a decent machine with lots of parts availability. It could be a nice little project.

Thanks. Some mechanical issues with my truck and looking for a new job are keeping me from getting to ride right now, but I will be out tearing it up again soon.
