Looking for some advice on what oil to put in the above machine. I have the service manual which says "only use a high quality detergent 10W/40 motor oil with an API classification of SF or SG". I happen to have a 10L Castrol Magnatec semi-syn 10W-40 oil in the garage. Question is do I need motorcycle oil or will automotive oil do the job?

Just about everything wears a Made in China sticker now. Smaller Stihl chainsaws are Chinese. Almost all the Apple computers/tablets/phones. Almost hard to find things made at home... -

Could this be a Chinese 300cc machine? Sold under different brands including Buyang and Feishen.
