I've only riden on the automatic's, so far no complaints at all about them from the buddy's and family that have them too. As for the low speed, my Polaris manual says to use low gear when pulling loads or when driving slow speeds... less wear on the drive belt.

Hi everyone, newbie from Illinios here. Recently bought my first quad, 06 Sportsman 500. It looks like this is a fun site, and I look forward to learning more and hopefully giving back when I can.
