2024 Presidential Election Discussion Thread

I don’t even think we have 4 more years. I believe antifa and activist judges will terrorize the cities immediately and the liberals/Satanist’s are already moving on Plan B. We’ll see. I’m allowing myself to take the weekend off to enjoy the victory. -

it’s good that you’ve had a long road, made mistakes and learned from them. This makes you a stronger person, and often a more empathetic person. However. Collectivism is not the opposite of rugged individualism. In terms of the modern context: Collectivism is two things. 1 - It’s communism under another brand. 2 - It’s the lie that is shoved in our collective faces each day. When someone proposes an insane idea (like bearded men using women’s restrooms) in the natural and real world you should normally see 15,000 people collectively say “That’s nuts, go away pervert” Instead what we see is a scripted bot farm of 1,000+ fake user accounts all post in support of this insanity and the 15,000 people who speak out against it are censored, demonetized, swat raided and deleted. That’s “collectivism” today. It’s the fake world pulled over our eyes to make it seem like insanity is mainstream and everybody wants it, and it’s what makes us think nobody out there has any common sense left. Rugged Individualism is another tool in the psychological war against humanity that tells us we can each be an island and that we don’t need to actually collectivize or tribe up… it tells us we’re wrong for wanting to form large communities of like minded folk. In this way we are kept alone and isolated. This makes us easier to control, and if needed.. remove Tribe up with like minded folk. Create parallel economies, parallel communities. Don’t rely on the matrix (as much as possible). -

“Rugged individualism” will be the death of our culture. -

I agree entirely Ulf. I wrote a long post just before this that was pretty similar to yours. (It appears to have poofed into the message board ether…) Basically you’re tired of the symptoms. I’m not sure if you’ve identified the disease that causes these symptoms, but if you have, you know voting doesn’t fix it… getting “The right president” in just pushes half the problem down the road 4 years, and half of the problem will progress regardless of who’s name is on the White House. Get ready. It’s going to be a year for the record books. -

Perfectly said. I hope that guy is getting a paycheck for wasting his time posting here.. otherwise he might as well open his junk drawer, scribble those thoughts on some Post-It’s and put them back in the drawer. Only thing that could save the communists at this point is 4.5 moths of pure opposite of their first 3.5 years. It would take an incredibly strong finish, and we know that the only strong finish in her career was in her mouth… -

Came here to tinker with my Yamaha and found this blast from the past. (IE: Political Discussion on a message board.. so 2003) I remember feeling like folks on both sides of this, both liberal and conservative.. then seeing and learning that these are all literally propaganda talking points… handcrafted by likely the same team. No new ideas and no reality… you probably will think me nutty for saying that, but I’ve been paying attention for the last 40 years.. the game is rigged from the top down.. from the media to politics and the corporate conglomerates. It is what it is. There’s no voting it away. Thank you for this nostalgic view into the Matrix. Off to tinker with my Yamaha! -
Yamaha bear tracker 250 kill switch bypass
JackThompson899 replied to JackThompson899's topic in Yamaha ATV Forum
hey! Very interesting idea here! I am 99% sure the CdI was also replaced (stator I think as well.. it’s been a while. so, for the ground wire on the kill switch. Can I bypass that? (Hardwire) if so… is there a dead simple instruction you might have? (Like, connect the green/white cable coming off the kill switch directly to the chassis. Or something? id love to test that theory. -
Yamaha bear tracker 250 kill switch bypass

Thanks for the quick reply! I agree, if you can’t troubleshoot outside new parts you aren’t much of a mechanic. They have done well with cleaning the carbs on my generators though… I’ll see if I can find the manual, and those tests sound like exactly what I need to do. I’ll report back with my results! -
Hey guys, I have lurked here for about 7 years (thanks for the yearly birthday wishes!) I posted 7 years ago that we bought a used Yamaha Bear tracker.. and we have had many adventures since then, but half of them have been repair “Adventures” It stopped starting (Even pull start) last year and I tried the basics (Spark plug, clean carb etc) I took it into a shop and they did EVERYTHING to get it to spark. New coil, replaced the entire handlebar cluster (Switches, coil, starter switch, neutral safety, and finally replaced the entire wiring harness.) It simply won’t even try to start. Pulling the pull cord doesn’t start it. After paying for their time and efforts (Over $1000) I dragged it home dead... This shop only “Fixes” things using OEM factory parts and won’t “Jury rig” anything... so if there was a creative way to bypass the entire thing to just start it, they couldn’t really discuss it. I did ask the mechanic when I was loading it up “What would YOU do if this was your ATV at home and you had these issues?” He said he experimented with bypassing the kill switched and it turned over. I didn’t think to ask HOW he bypassed the kill switch, but it sounds like that’s my culprit! So how do I bypass the kill switch on a 2003 Yamaha Bear Tracker 250? Or, is there a way to Hotwire it so I can start it without the starter button (In case that’s the issue, even though it shouldn’t be since the entire handlebar cluster is new.... it seems haunted at this point!

Working on learning to maintain and repair my 2 quads with my son. Gives us something to do together and allows us to have a new hobby (quad riding) that we can afford. Over the last 2 years I've picked up a 1986 Honda TRX250 and a 1999 Yamaha Bear a tracker 250. We've rebuilt carbs, replaced starter pull cords and done basic tune ups. As things get more complicated and repairs start looking more involved hopefully we can find some answers here. Thanks! Off to look around here now.
