  1. So a broken jet was the problem? Awesome you fixed it but seems strange a jet would suddenly break on the trail with the guy that sold it to you lol Turn the idle speed back up some then adjust the mixture until it idles at the speed you want and the stumble should go away. Often a stumble is found in the transition between the pilot circuit and the needle circuit (see pic below). Turning the idle speed down as far as possible while adjusting the mixture is a good way to create a stumble if the carb isn't absolutely perfectly designed.

If part #3 is the one you are referring to, i had trouble finding that piece on one of the ones i was restoring, the newer style air filteers are self supporting, thats whaat i used on mine, you just have to find one the right length that will go in there and maybe make an adapter hose. May not be yours its a little newer.

  3. Found it, looks like they made it from 85-88 i suspect parts will be hard to find on one made so few years 40 years ago, i would try Ebay first, but you may have to adapt things to get it running while you keep looking for original parts.

  4. They say that arctic cat use suzuki engines, and a lot of their air-boxes look like suzuki too.. Just saying !
