Excellent.. Things like the fan not behaving, even though we know the wiring isn't all attached, can lead us on a merry run around alright.. Like trying to run/fix things on jury rigged fuel tanks, only to eventually discover they need fuel pressure. It's always a problem though when we start on something unknown and just want to ascertain it's viability first.. Well done on finding the pragmatic way through..
