2002 Polaris Sportsman 400 - 4WD Not Engaging

I have a 2002 Polaris Sportsman 400. Front left tire will not engage into 4 wheel drive. I took it apart and the armature plate was damaged so I put a new one in but still no 4 wheel drive. I have 3 wheel drive at the moment. I checked wiring, its okay from what I can tell. When its engaged in 4 wheel drive is the armature plate supposed to stick to the magnet? I can pull it off by hand, is it normal? Also, if anyone knows what reading I should get with ohms/continuity/resistance.

      KVF 400 Float Height

      I have a 2002 Kawasaki Prairie KVF 400 and im trying to figure out the actual float height... i have read 17mm +- 2mm, seen 13mm and 23mm... what is happening is it will start right up, rev a little and all is fine, when it warms and you put a load on it bogs down and sputters. no i don't have a manual

      any one know much about how this system works. Replaced voltage regulator cid box coil pickup coil have power to cid box none out to coil any thoughts. This is cid box number three

      1990 Kawasaki Bayou 220 wiring issues

      I have a 1990 Bayou 220 that runs pretty well for it's age--needs a new muffler, but sounds tough.    Have had to start with a pull cord since I got it, and recently started troubleshooting the start button.  Finding a lot of information on this issue in the forum, but haven't been able to chase it down yet.  Got a new battery, new starter solenoid, and going to replace the starter relay this week, but not convinced that's going to do the trick, since I can't get the neutral light on when turning the key on.  I can start it by jumping the solenoid, but the 2 black wires to the relay do not activate the starter.  Bad ground or a short somewhere?  Is there a good way to just test the ground?
