This is a very well maintained 2001 Honda 250ex. I bought this quad used but in brand new condition back in June of 2001. I have taken extremely good care of this quad and it has always been garage stored. The only flaws with this bike is there is a crack on the right front fender which has been rapaired and the right side panel has a small crack in it which has also been repaired. Also, the two back holeshots each have one plug in them. Other than those flaws and normal scratches, this bike is excellent. I recently repainted the a-arms and front frame so it looks like new. I really hate to sell it but I want a 400ex. Asking $2,150 OBO! E-mail me for any questions or for more pics. The mods on this bike are:

White Bros. e-series slip on (recently repacked)(Have stock exhaust too!)

ITP holeshot xct rear tires 80% tread with douglas 8 in. red label rims

K&N air filter with outerwear

Splitfire spark plug (Also have 2 new NGK plugs)

AC Racing Nerf bars, front and back bumper (Have stock front and rear bumper)

Acerbis flag hand guards I also have a stock brand new heel guard

Jetted carb (Have stock jets)

Brand new pro taper synergy full waffle soft grips (safety wired)

Shock covers

My name says it all. I have a '03 Honda Sporttrax 400EX with a new aftermarket carb on it that seems to be having issues. I can start it but it idles really rough and when I give it throttle it just kills the engine. I have tried adjusting the idle screw but to no avail. I am in the San Diego Ca area.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to get an owners manual for the thing too but can't seem to find a downloadable one.

I’ve got a 2000 400ex with a dg slip on muffler, it came with he stock muffler on it but the previous owner had the dg in a box so I put it on. I’ve been riding it for the past month and a half and every time I let off it backfires, and the other day the backfires got way louder, 2x louder! I’m concerned that I may hurt my motor? Why does is backfire??? Thanks

I recently bought a 87 TRX 250 not running of course, the owner had a brand new Key Switch on it.
I think it is the wrong one or wrong wire colors as the colors dont match up with wiring diagram i downloaded for it.
anyone have a pic of their ign switch wires where they connect with the wire colors for that model? I ended up leaving the black/w stripe and
green wire disconnected in order to hot wire it for other testing but would like to know as the colors dont match diagram.

Im aware that this relay needs a positive (+) and a negative (-) to activate the other side. The blue wire is the neutral wire so when in neutral it gets ground. The green wire is from the parking break; when you pull the break in it gets ground (-). however one of those two needs to be neutral so that the positive from kill switch can go to the starter relay. The ground from the starter relay is from the start switch. Which one (neutral or parking break) should have a positive (+) voltage?

As the 2025 ATV Motocross National Championship Series (ATVMX), an AMA National Championship, got underway with back-to-back Florida AMA Pro only events, it was evident that Phoenix Racing Yamaha’s Joel Hetrick picked up where he left off last season.View the full article
