Please help my 400ex won't crank

Hey I have a 2002 400ex I was riding it went mudding then on the way back home went through some water which was not that deep and when I got out of the water it cut off and wouldn't crank please help

unhook as many connections you can to let it dry out, then put some dielectic grease in the connectors and go from there. sounds like it is just wet ...

But it's had now been like 3 weeks it has sat there

if you have a voltage tester, you can see where the power stops. it wont crank, you mean the electric start or no spark? make sure the wires to the starter are good, unbolt the wires and clean the connection area(s) and then try ...

It sparks and the electric starter is working

have you used any quick starter fluid to help it along?

Make sure your air cleaner isnt clogged up and check your valve adjustments. Sometimes things happen at the exact time and it makes it seem like its related. If you feel its still an electrical problem dl a shop manual and check your connections like Oxy said. If still at a loss pm CK_1999. He is a wiz with the 400ex
