What is oozing from front axle? Should I worry?
That's from rear axle, worried about that oozing black stuff. It was all by my finger. What is it?!

Also brakes have nothing. Where do I start with them?! And where can I get a cheap solenoid and tires?! Thanks!
tires are probably wearing like that because of camber and toe in/toe out ...

the boot may have lost the seal from the clamp or dirt worked its way in and you are losing cv grease ...

the last pic looks like a worn seal, and you are losing gear oil ...

if it isnt a big deal for you and like its not something you want to do right away, yah, just top it up as you go. it might look like alot is leaking, but is probably very little ...

and tires, if you get new fronts, keep the air even in both, like 4-5 pounds each. that could have been something that contributed to the wear too ...

Went to the store.. Got 80w gear oil one of the better ones, some cv grease (time to replace boots), and 5 1/2 quarts of 10w-30.. Any how tos for all this?

fill the gear oil from the top bolt, look for a fill level mark inside. pack as much as you can for the cv joints, motor oil or atv oil? you need atv oil for the hondas transmission (hp4 i think). i always used honda oil when i had my hondas, tried tested and true ... only need a couple quarts for a change i think ...

2.3 quarts lol. I let a friend change it and he put in castrol motor oil 10w-30 synthetic. Is that ok? How exactly do I pack the CVs? Alright and that bolt is beyond stuck?!

As long as the oil says wet clutch safe then the oil is ok. I would pack the cvs by hand as much as possible then dump some grease inside the boot. Was told if dirt does get in there it would stick to the boot instead of going to the cv due to centrifical force....wishful thinking maybe lol

If your in the U.S. then your oil is in quarts, but that bike is foreign so its a metric version. It should tell you right near the dip stick tube if its a 1000ml or 2000ml. one litre is 1000ml. Just get a conversion chart from the net and itll tell you the difference between a litre and a quart.

Also, if oil is getting out of the rear end then if you ride it in water, water is getting in, so keep it full until you can arrange or afford to have the seals replaced otherwise youll have a rear end gear problem.

Good luck

I’m brand new to 4 wheelers and just bought a 1987 Yamaha Moto 4 350. It has good compression and fuel, but no spark. I’ve looked high and low trying to find how to test all the components of the ignition system, but can’t find anything. This has a new CDI box on it, but I suspect it might be the stator. How do I test the stator on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i just picked this up. was told ran fine but overheating issues led to replacing head gasket and head. has not ran since. he is not a mechanic but helped someone else who he could not get back to finish job, got aggravated and put up for sale. i was thinking timing issues. i have 110-120psi on all 3 cylinders so i think valves are correct. dont know about distributor yet. however i have no spark. i have no power going to ignition coil. tried to follow white wire but gets lost in wire harness. does anyone have a wiring diagram? can anyone tell me what conditions have to be met before starting. motor turns over so i would think all safeties are met but you never know.

Are the cheap tires from Amazon any good? I know nothing last forever, but don’t want them to dry rot in a year.

First post here need some help/advice. I bought a 2001 king quad 300, vin number JSAAK43A212111871. I have been trying to do some basic maintenance as it runs but doesn't idle all that well . I want to take out and clean/repair the carb but when looking for parts it ask for model X Y K1 K2. How do I know which model I have? I have tried some vin decoders but they haven't told me. If anyone could recommend a carb rebuild kit for my quad Id appreciate it. Also any tips on tracking down an owners manual?
