Hey Savannah,

Great pics of your little boy! My current profile pic is of my daughter last Easter vacation learning to ride her "new" ly replasticed 50 cc Kawasaki quad ! She was 3 years old then. I have pics, but need to load some onto my gallery! My son just turned 9 years old last week. He rides a 90 cc Yamaha, and is just learning to shift.

No, She isn't on this site because she only rides if she goes out with us... (We are the keepers of the toys! ) Thanks for the info, I tried that but for some reason it came up with a link so I tried the other ways... anywho, I'll get it sometime!

hmm the last one seems a tad too big for that quad lol

btw im just somewhat a kid.

but my mom doesnt ride.

my dad used to be huge on motorsports.

i figured that out when he borrowed a warrior from one of his buddies and ripped on that thing like ive never seen

lol then he told me about the past.

he used to own an awesome 250r three wheeler..he showed me pics

i might try to scan that pic and upload it..

That is the problem with quad makers. The quads are too small for the size of 10 to 15 year old kids. They need to maker larger quads with not necessarily larger engines. I have had that issue with my son who is 13.

Size is the ONLY reason my 9 year old is on an 80 cc quad! He was too tall for the 50 cc. I thought that could be more dangerous than too much power, and his quad does have a throttle limiter so we can control how much power he gets. The 80 is big enough for me to ride fairly comfortably, so It should last him well into his teens... (then I'll have to hide my key ;)

they do make bigger smaller cc quads.

generic ones. but you have to know where to look

i know where there is a little 125cc quad that is so awesome lol

its lowerd widened and its just BAD looking. and its a 4 speed clutch!

ill upload a pic in an edit..

it would be cool just to have..o and its only 1,250$

A pic will help. I just am worried too that a bigger engine would get son in trouble, lol but I think I know what you are talking about witht he generic ones, but my son is a big 10 year old so maybe I will have to look into it more.........

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.

Hello all! I’m new to the 4 wheeler world, but not new to the mechanic world. I was a diesel mechanic for many years and last year got into jet skis. I just bought a 1987 Yamaha moto 4 350 and now learning the ins and outs of 2 stroke engines. Looking forward to learning all the things.

Just aquired this Honda 4514. I had heard of them and seen them but had never really looked at one. Amazing machine from the 90s.
It has a 14 HP inline 2 cylinder engine. A cute little fan like the old school cars had and a little radiator. It has a timing belt on the back of the engine running the cam and a water pump. Just like a miniature car engine with  electronic clutches to turn blades on and off. Pretty hight tech for the 90s not a small thing and built like a tank weighs in at 600 pds hydrostatic trans. I have found out that almost anything you have to do to it the engine has to come out starter timing belt water pump. Very expensive parts i think most got junked for that reason, i did find out they were built by John Deere except for the honda engine.
Does anyone here have any expierience with these.

What are your riding location preferences? Mud Park? Personal Trails? Public Land?
