Just happened to find a Can-Am BRP dealer in town, so you know I had to check it out! They only had Outlanders, and some Jet skis, and you better believe they weren't cheap. I don't think that just over 28,000 USD for an Outlander is a good deal! After chatting with the sales people, they let me know that they had only sold two of the quads so far. They had no idea where someone could ride them and since there are not too many pickups or trailers, there is no way to get them from one place to another without hiring a rollback truck. Seems like a little too much trouble for me.

It is their import taxes that make things so expensive, anything that is imported is a "Luxury Item" so it is taxed anywhere from 25 to 100% of the purchase price, like the ATV's they are taxed at 100% of the Import price. Its the same with other items, cars like Mercedes, BMW, and motorcycles like Ducati, or Harley Davidson are usually taxed an extra 50% of the purchase price. It promotes buying cars and motorcycles made in China, and keeps their manufacturers competitive with foreign manufacturers. If the US would do that, we might still make things like TV's, and Iphones here.

Nah, it just has the 100% luxury tax applied to the price. 175000 CNY~28,000 USD, so its a $14,000 USD quad, being taxed until its double the American MSRP. Its actually a good way to keep production based inside of China, and to give Chinese manufacturers an advantage over foreign companies trying to import their products into China. Its what the US should be doing, but we aren't.

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

As the 2025 ATV Motocross National Championship Series (ATVMX), an AMA National Championship, got underway with back-to-back Florida AMA Pro only events, it was evident that Phoenix Racing Yamaha’s Joel Hetrick picked up where he left off last season.View the full article

I am new to this site. Now down to business, I have been given a Kawasaki 220, tires are trashed and it has been setting for a long time. Do I need a battery in it to find neutral? I know there is a neutral switch and if I shift down(7 times????)   then up one using the neutral switch I should be in Neutral. As you see I am in a learning curve here ......coments welcome.

Are the cheap tires from Amazon any good? I know nothing last forever, but don’t want them to dry rot in a year.
