Here are some photos of my fishing Quad. I continually have problems with the electrics and the frame work rust is getting out of control. We do ride the other bikes down on the beach also, but Occasionally, and so I don't want this to happen to them. HELP!

wow ..is rite ... i would tear it all down and powder coat all the steel parts .. and then paint everything else ..to coat it ... just to keep the salt from eating it away .. make shure you get a good place to dit ware they will sand blast it all and wash or dip it .. to make shure all the salt is gone b4 they coat it ... and any parts that you cand bake with the powder coat i would have them sand blasted or at least wire brush and wast then paint them with several coats of good paint .. then a couple coats of clear ...that way u will have a few layers to help keep the rust away .. for a while ... and with that you say they cost to replace there it would be wrth it in the long run that way ...

This is a shot of the front nudge bar that has factory powder coat and a bit of my own after market abuse. Its not a real good photo now that I look at it, it does not show how the coating just flaking off.

Id like to strip the Quad down and have it hot dipped (galvanized) but I'm not so confident in stripping the hole thing, stripping it yes getting it back together that's an entirely new subject

i was watching the speed channel yesturday where they were building the new challengers, i had always wondered why this wasn't being done but then they showed what they did with the frames. they foam sprayed the insides, a 2 part foam, i have worked with that foam insulating and it is awesome stuff. it expands so much and the only precaution you have to do is cover the holes due to sunlight breaking it down ... its light and nothing can penetrate thru it ...

yes, basically the same stuff/concept. the foam i use is two separate tanks with two separate lines, and mixes at the trigger handle. it's dry in 30 seconds ....

i use the bbq tank style 20lb tanks ....

Spray Foam Kits - Tiger Foam Canada

Looks good Oxi but wont it hold water?. At the moment I put the presser washer on needel spray and spray in all the drain holes to get the salt water out of the inside of the frame and it drips dry for two days or so will it hold water?

1st problem, Does anyone know where I can find a stock carb for my Timberwolf, I have tried two different aftermarket carbs and they both suck. The machine runs great until it gets good and warm, then it keeps stalling unless I feather the throttle. it will even stall while I'm trying to go from 1st to reverse or vise versa. I took it to a buddy of mine who is a bike mechanic for years, and he told me try to find a factory carb. When I look online from dealers it says "NOT AVAILABLE" anyone have any suggestions ?

2nd, The small tab on the rear axle for towing is to short for even pulling my small yard trailer, I can't even turn a little bit and hit hits. I tried making an extension which worked great as far as length, but it bends the tab and then the extension drags the ground. I have an idea of what to do to fix it, but wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and see how you solved it.

      I Crashed My Quad
Well the Way I Ride, some of you knew it was Inevitable.
      Below are Three Videos.
First one is Slow Motion of How it Happens.
Second one is Normal Speed, and what happens after the Accident.
Third one Follows more of what happens after .

I Was Riding By Myself. I was going through a Mud HOLE Either there was a log or a rock, or A Dip but just as I was almost through it, Machine, Rolled over on my right side, as soon as I contacted the ground, I Heard A SNAP! I got up, flipped the Quad back over. I had the wind knocked out of me.

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.

First post here need some help/advice. I bought a 2001 king quad 300, vin number JSAAK43A212111871. I have been trying to do some basic maintenance as it runs but doesn't idle all that well . I want to take out and clean/repair the  carb but when looking for parts it ask for model X Y K1 K2. How do I know which model I have? I have tried some vin decoders but they haven't told me. If anyone could recommend a carb rebuild kit for my quad Id appreciate it. Also any tips on tracking down an owners manual?
