Noticed it this morning, Was -1 out, Started it with choke half way open, Fired right up second crank via electric starter. Shed was filling with not exhaust but oil/smoke, thought nothing of it at the time, Fast forward to later today, Started it up after washing it, And got a big puff of smoke from the bike, Checked the oil, Sure enough was down about half a quart, Opened air box, Oil sitting in the bottom of it (could have been from the prefilter though but there was an oilish trail from the intake tube which the breather connects to) Breather tube has milky white oil (I know it means water) Any ideas or help would be apreachiated, It has great compression which strikes me as odd considering its used half a quart of oil in about 5 hours run time (Have a hour meter)

Only has one vent line off the crankcase, and it does not seem to have a valve so its constantly getting pressure out it, I have a feeling thats where some of the oil in the air box is coming from,

I noticed this as well on my 1990 Big Bear after full fluid change and filter cleaning. Before the oil change, zero smoke at start-up/idle.

Afterwards, smokes a bit on initial start but clears up after warmed up.

Kind attributing to the fact that maybe poor oil circulation due to very clogged oil filter in my case and age of the bike systems.

Planning on valve adjust but not sure that will make any difference in start up smoking. I'll be watching for additional tips too.

I recently bought a 87 TRX 250 not running of course, the owner had a brand new Key Switch on it.
I think it is the wrong one or wrong wire colors as the colors dont match up with wiring diagram i downloaded for it.
anyone have a pic of their ign switch wires where they connect with the wire colors for that model? I ended up leaving the black/w stripe and
green wire disconnected in order to hot wire it for other testing but would like to know as the colors dont match diagram.

I finally got around to working on the TRX, this has been an ongoing problem with this machine. This is a machine that we keep on my Fathers property, i dont see it that often, my brother haad it professionally repaired last year and year before same problem, the new starter gears and bypass gears last about a year and the machine is not used that often, he said he was done with it , so i thought i should go take a look. Sure enough the gears were all malled again.

IMG_4910.mov   There is some slack in there but most is taken up by the gear cover,if anyone with history with these machines has had the same problem, let me know your findings. Where i am now im looking for finding replacement honda gears on Ebay and try those. I suspect the original was replaced with aftermarket gears years ago and they just worse quality as the years go by.

The Ultra Bee T offers the fastest acceleration of any road-legal electric motorcycle at this price-point, with the flexibility to deal with a wide range of surfaces. With its huge capability the Ultra Bee T will appeal to people looking for a great medium distance commuter, that’s also able to turn its hand to off-road riding and green laning.

      Hello.
I've bought myself a Iron Baltic electric hydraulic plow lifter for my TGB, with a matching mounting kit. It was supposed to fit directly on my ATV. But I'm really not happy with the result. Had to cut off some of the cover under the atv, and still the angle didn't seem to be right in order to fasten the adapter on top. Also it touches the bumper and makes ugly marks.
Is there anyone here with experience, or know a good solution on this?
