Hey guys! First post here and have a question that I hope someone can answer. I have an opportunity to buy an FMF pipe w/power bomb header for really cheap! Question is....I own a 05 TRX 450r and the pipe combo is for an 06+ 450r. Will it fit? I know I should just buy a system that's made for my quad.....but this is a KILLER deal! Thanks for your time!

Thanks quadnut for the reply back. Yeah, I know there were differences....just wasn't sure how much and if this was one of them. LOL. Guess I'll wait awhile and see if I can get one thats made for my quad that I can afford. Thanks again.

Lookin' for CHEAP! LOL! Kinda tight right now as far as the "quad fund" goes. My banker says, "if it's cheap.....then maybe." So I guess that means used.

I have a Yamaha Timberwolf 4x4 250. I want to put a winch on it, but just wondering if the charging system will handle it or not ? Has anyone added one to their machine and have you had any issues?

So I decided to pick up a small trailer if I could get one for the right price.  I found this one for a few hundred bucks on Craig’s list.  It is  a galvanized trailer which is exactly what I was looking for. The wood was shot and needed some minor repairs which I could care less about as long as the chassis was good.
I striped it down and put a new deck on. I had some vinyl realtree graphics that I had laying around so I added them to the fenders which I think worked out well. Very happy with this little guy.
I'm having the iron workers at my jobmake me up a few lightweight side rails that will have a 22 degree bend in them to accommodate the tires that slightly hang over the edge and will incorporate some tie down points as well.

Are the cheap tires from Amazon any good? I know nothing last forever, but don’t want them to dry rot in a year.

I finally got around to working on the TRX, this has been an ongoing problem with this machine. This is a machine that we keep on my Fathers property, i dont see it that often, my brother haad it professionally repaired last year and year before same problem, the new starter gears and bypass gears last about a year and the machine is not used that often, he said he was done with it , so i thought i should go take a look. Sure enough the gears were all malled again.

IMG_4910.mov   There is some slack in there but most is taken up by the gear cover,if anyone with history with these machines has had the same problem, let me know your findings. Where i am now im looking for finding replacement honda gears on Ebay and try those. I suspect the original was replaced with aftermarket gears years ago and they just worse quality as the years go by.
