I'm thinking about getting an ATV trailer (Bosski 800AL, single axle, 200lbs) and am wondering if anyone has any experience with pulling a trailer, and in particular, how it affected your abilities on the trail. I'll be pulling it with a Sportsman 600 twin.

That is, how much did it limit the places you could go? I'm thinking about some of the hills, rivers, and bogs I've been through and don't know how safe it would be to try to pull a trailer through. Just not that much experience with trailers, but want one for hunting in AK, and didn't want to spend the money and then find it too limiting.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Griz

I don't have much experience with one. I pulled one a couple times on a construction job I had. The biggest thing I saw with it was that it bounced around a lot. It didn't seem to be extremely stable in the cornering dept either. I got it everywhere it needed to go, but it wasn't a speedy process.

Have you ever been on the trail and your tire valve goes bad. No way to break down the wheel and replace it. A lot of you probably know about this already i had heard of it but never used one. Just punch out the old one insert and tighten down the nut

So far it has worked very well.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a really Heavy Duty ATV cover. I have bought several and they do keep the water off somewhat, but they are very thin and do not contour with the shape very well and water pools up in the rack louvers. I think i may be looking for a heavy canvas one, if anyone has a recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.
