I had to give up on getting parts from the local dealer.I needed a oil filter for my arctic cat 300 which you need a o-ring on the cover when changing. They had the filter but no o-ring which they could order and have it in about a week. And this was at a shop that had service also,so what do they do if someone has a machine in there for service wait.So instead I just paid the shipping and ordered it on line instead of burning gas chasing parts. So the question is this pretty much the norm now,and if so who do you think the best online parts supplier is?

I have used RMATV fantastic service, MotoSport very fast shipping and good prices, Immortal ATV great communication on shipment and good prices but not a big selection. Motorcycle-superstore another great site.

I have bought parts off ebay after taking the sellers feed back rating into account. But my last online parts purchase the shipping costs of over 15 dollars for some carb. parts was a little high.weight the box when I got it 7.5 oz.Trying a another supplier who has a flat rate of$9.95 see how well they do.

I will have to try Bike Bandit next time. The outfit called Dirt Cheap Atv parts out of Rexberg Id.Which I ordered some parts from,I get the impression they have no stock and they order the parts you order from their supplier ,which would explain the two week shipping.Well you hopefully I will know better next time.

I’m brand new to 4 wheelers and just bought a 1987 Yamaha Moto 4 350. It has good compression and fuel, but no spark. I’ve looked high and low trying to find how to test all the components of the ignition system, but can’t find anything. This has a new CDI box on it, but I suspect it might be the stator. How do I test the stator on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i just picked this up. was told ran fine but overheating issues led to replacing head gasket and head. has not ran since. he is not a mechanic but helped someone else who he could not get back to finish job, got aggravated and put up for sale. i was thinking timing issues. i have 110-120psi on all 3 cylinders so i think valves are correct. dont know about distributor yet. however i have no spark. i have no power going to ignition coil. tried to follow white wire but gets lost in wire harness. does anyone have a wiring diagram? can anyone tell me what conditions have to be met before starting. motor turns over so i would think all safeties are met but you never know.

I've been trying to piece this Lakota 300 back together, slowly. It's been a rabbit hole however. I replace one thing, then it leads to replacing other things. Anyway, When I got this thing I noticed that the hose coming off the camshaft cover wasn't attached to anything, it was just hanging loose. (It's literally just a foot long hose attached to nothing) I figured since it was venting the head it would be ok and I am sure it is.
However, last night I was looking at the service manual and noticed that it mentioned that this atv has a crankcase breather tube as well. Mine does not have one, so I looked at Partzilla and looked at the parts diagram and sure enough, it's definitely supposed to have one. The problem however is, the service manual does not show how it hooks up and the parts diagram only shows the exploded view of the assembly. I just find that kind of strange, nowhere in the manual does it show how it connects. Does it have it connector, attach to a nipple? It just doesn't say and it bothers me that there is a hole there without anything attached to it.  If anyone has a Bayou 300 or Lakota 300 with an intact breather vent system and could possibly take some clear photos of it or know how it connects I would be very grateful. I have searched high and low and cannot find any information on it.

      Thanks
